So I finally got my hands on a 2024 CTR after waiting for months and man those red carpets are gorgeous but they're gonna be a nightmare to keep clean especially since I live in the PNW and it rains like every single day. I'm trying to decide what to buy first to protect the interior before I actually start dailying it.
I'm really torn between these two setups:
I'm leaning toward the OEM mats because I want to keep the vibe of the car but I'm worried I'll regret it the first time I get mud on the side carpets. My budget is about 250 to 300 bucks for the first round of mods and I need to order something by Friday so it gets here before my road trip next weekend. Should I stick with the Honda stuff or is the aftermarket protection just way better for a daily? Also if anyone has a lead on a screen protector that actually fits the 9-inch display without huge gaps let me know...
> coverage isnt great near the dead pedal. In my experience, TuxMat Honda Civic 2022-2024 All-Weather Mats are the smarter budget move. They cover the sidewalls fully, protecting your carpet from that PNW rain.
Like someone mentioned, the factory look is nice but I was pretty disappointed with the Honda All-Season High Wall Floor Mats. Unfortunately they leave a massive gap near the dead pedal and my red carpets got wrecked after one rainy week... dont waste your cash. For your screen, get the Spigen Glas.tR Slim Screen Protector for 9-Inch Honda Civic. It actually fits right without any huge gaps on the edges.
