I recently picked up a 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and the summer heat is already becoming a problem. I’m looking for a high-quality sunshade that actually fits the massive windshield without leaving huge gaps around the rearview mirror or the ADAS sensor housing. I’ve tried a couple of generic 'one-size-fits-all' options from local shops, but they’re either too flimsy or don't clear the dash tech properly. Does anyone have experience with custom-fit brands like WeatherTech or Covercraft for this specific model? I'm looking for something sturdy that won't sag over time. Which brand offers the tightest fit for the Tucson's unique dimensions?

Seconding the recommendation above! Honestly, I’ve had issues with the Covercraft UVS100 Custom Sunscreen being a bit too bulky to store, so I actually switched to the WeatherTech Custom Fit SunShade.

Unfortunately, the Tucson's ADAS housing is huge, and while the Covercraft is sturdy, it didn't clear the mirror as cleanly as I wanted. The WeatherTech is more flexible but still fits like a glove—definitely keeps the cabin way cooler than those cheap generic ones!

Hi there! Oh, I totally get your frustration with those flimsy generic shades—I’ve been there too! For your situation, I would suggest looking into the Covercraft Custom UVS100 Sunscreen. Honestly, I was a bit nervous about the price at first because I’m a pretty cautious buyer, but it’s absolutely amazing!

I picked one up for my Tucson because I was worried about the heat damaging the dash tech, and the fit is just so fantastic. It’s super sturdy and has a hard foam core, so it doesn't sag at all! It clears the ADAS sensor housing perfectly without any awkward gaps. One thing though—since it's so thick and custom-fit, you have to be careful not to bump your rearview mirror when putting it up. I'm still a beginner at maneuvering it, but I love it! Anyway, back to your question, definitely check out the WeatherTech Custom Fit SunShade as well if you want a roll-up option. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Honestly, after years of trying high-end shades, I've found you don't always need to drop $100. If those already mentioned feel too pricey, I'd suggest AutoTech Park Custom Fit Sunshade for 2021-2024 Hyundai Tucson. It's a solid middle-ground option—sturdy enough to avoid sagging but way more budget-friendly. Another great value pick is the Pigenius Custom Fit Windshield Sunshade for 2024 Tucson Hybrid. Both clear the ADAS housing better than any generic 'one-size' junk!

Story time: I went through this last year when I first got my Tucson, and honestly, my biggest concern wasn't just the heat—it was the safety of the electronics. I'm always a bit cautious about those ADAS sensors behind the rearview mirror. I've heard horror stories about cheap shades trapping too much heat against the glass and potentially frying the camera tech or causing adhesive failure.

Because I'm a bit of a safety-first person, I eventually settled on the HeatShield Custom Fit Sunshade for 2024 Hyundai Tucson. I was really happy to find that it has a very specific cutout that clears the sensor housing without leaving a massive gap for the sun to peak through. It’s a bit more flexible than the rigid boards, which I actually prefer because I don't want to accidentally whack the mirror and mess up the calibration while I'm setting it up.

Anyway, back to your question, if you're worried about sagging, this one has held its shape surprisingly well over the last eight months. It uses a material that feels substantial but isn't as heavy as the WeatherTech ones mentioned earlier.

Quick tip: Always make sure the shade is tucked firmly behind the sun visors. It sounds obvious, but with the Tucson's deep dash, a secure fit is key to keeping those sensors cool. Good luck with the search!
