Hey everyone! I just recently picked up a new Hyundai Palisade and I’m absolutely loving the ride so far, but with two kids and a dog, I’m already getting a bit nervous about keeping that pristine carpeting clean. I really want to invest in some high-quality floor mats and a cargo liner before the first big spill or mud-filled soccer practice happens.

I’ve been doing a bit of digging, but I’m torn between the major brands. WeatherTech is obviously the go-to for many, but I’ve seen some buzz around TuxMat for that deep, wall-to-wall coverage, and Smartliner for a more budget-friendly option. One specific thing I’m worried about is the cargo area—I need a liner that plays nice with the third-row seats when they are folded down, but doesn't get in the way when I need them up. Also, since I have the 7-passenger configuration with the captain's chairs, I’m looking for something that covers the pass-through area effectively.

Has anyone here tried the OEM Hyundai liners versus the aftermarket brands? I’m looking for something durable that won't slide around or have that cheap plastic smell. What are you guys currently using in your Palisade, and how have they held up against daily wear and tear?

I went through this last year. Honestly, I had issues with the standard rigid plastic liners sliding around. 1. TuxMat Floor Mats for Hyundai Palisade: Coverage is insane, but unfortunately, the material is hard to deep clean.
2. Canvasback Cargo Liner for Hyundai Palisade: Best for the seats-up/down transition, but the Velcro can actually scuff the side plastics if you aren't careful... Basically still searching for the perfect setup for all the dog hair!!

> I need a liner that plays nice with the third-row seats Quick question - do u have power-folding 3rd row seats? Specs differ between 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Floor Liner and Husky Liners WeatherBeater Floor Mats depending on that... lemme know!

yo, congrats on the new Palisade! i totally feel u on the dog and kids situation... it basically becomes a dumpster on wheels if u dont have good mats lol. honestly, i spent weeks researching this before i pulled the trigger on mine. here's what i recommend based on my own trial and error: for the main cabin, hands down go with TuxMat Floor Mats for 2020-2024 Hyundai Palisade 7-Passenger. seriously, the coverage is way better than WeatherTech. they go all the way up the sides so mud from soccer cleats doesnt stand a chance. plus, they look way more premium and dont have that weird industrial rubber smell. they cover the pass-through area between the captain's chairs perfectly, which was a huge deal for me since my dog hangs out back there. for the cargo area tho, i actually prefer the Hyundai OEM Folding Cargo Tray for Palisade. the aftermarket ones like WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Hyundai Palisade are great quality, but they're usually one big stiff piece. it sucks if u need to pop up one of the third-row seats quickly cuz the whole mat gets bunched up. the OEM one is hinged so it actually moves with the seats. it's lowkey the most practical setup for families. if youre on a budget, Smartliner Custom Fit Floor Mats for Hyundai Palisade are a decent option, but they feel a bit thinner and more 'plasticky' than the TuxMats. but yeah, it really depends on your needs... TL;DR: TuxMat Floor Mats for the best interior coverage and stick with the Hyundai OEM Folding Cargo Tray for the back so u can actually use your seats without a hassle. gl!

Ok so, just caught this thread today! Ngl, the Palisade market is basically flooded with options right now. Before I give advice, can you clarify if your dog is a heavy shedder or more of a "muddy paws" type? That actually makes a huge difference for the cargo liner material choice because some textures trap hair like crazy while others are a breeze to wipe down. From a market research perspective, everyone jumps to the big names, but if you want that premium feel without the industrial plastic vibe, you should check out the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP. It's a newer rubber-like compound that's way less slippery than their classic liners. Another sleeper hit for the 7-passenger setup is the OEDRO Floor Mats for Hyundai Palisade. They've got a really deep tread pattern that's basically designed for soccer-parent life... super easy to hose off after a messy weekend. If you're worried about the pass-through between those captain's chairs, make sure you get a kit specifically labeled for the 7-seater config, otherwise, you'll have a weird carpet gap that'll just collect dog hair and goldfish crackers lol. Anyway, lmk about the dog situation!

Late to the party but quick question - do you have the power-folding third row or the manual ones? I ask because I've had issues with liners interfering with there tracks... which is honestly a safety hazard if they dont lock. Also, be careful with fitment near the gas pedal. I tried the Lloyd Mats Northridge All-Weather Floor Mats but unfortunately, they weren't as durable as I hoped. Safety-wise, you gotta make sure those retention clips actually click in!
