I just took delivery of my new Infiniti QX55 Sensory, and while the cabin is absolutely stunning, I’m struggling a bit with the actual storage layout. The center console feels a bit shallow for my daily essentials, and I’m worried about items sliding around and scratching the premium materials. I’m looking for high-quality organizers or perhaps a sleek seat gap filler that fits the aesthetic without looking cheap. Has anyone found a specific center console tray insert or a trunk cargo management system that fits the QX55’s unique dimensions perfectly? I’d love to know which accessories you're using to keep the interior tidy while maintaining that luxury feel.
Jumping in here, I went through this exact same thing last year when I got my Sensory! Honestly, the interior is so gorgeous that I was terrified of scratches. I basically did a deep dive into the technical dimensions and found that the console is super deep but narrow, which is kinda annoying for daily use. I ended up getting the Vesul Armrest Box Secondary Storage Tray for Infiniti QX50 QX55 for about $16. It’s amazing cuz it adds a second tier so my coins and keys aren't just rattling at the bottom, and the ABS plastic actually matches the interior trim perfectly. For the trunk, since that sloping roofline is tricky, I grabbed a Drive Auto Car Trunk Organizer for like $25. It’s got these tie-down straps so it doesn't shift when your driving. Highkey, it's the best value vs. the OEM stuff which is way too pricey imo. Seriously, it keeps everything looking factory-clean without breaking the bank!! Did you find a good phone mount yet??
honestly i get it, that storage is tight. i found that the CDEFG Center Console Organizer Tray for Infiniti QX50 QX55 works great for about $16 and stops stuff from rattling around, which is a big safety plus. also, grab the EcoNour Car Seat Gap Filler 2 Pack for $12 so your phone doesn't slide under the seat and get stuck by the pedals... seriously dangerous if that happens! gl
Can confirm
Oh man, I feel u. I picked up my QX55 last year and honestly... the storage situation is lowkey a mess for such a beautiful car. I was sooo disappointed when I realized my phone and keys were just sliding around on that gorgeous leather. I mean, for a luxury SUV, you'd think they'd give us more than a shallow pit, right? I tried a few cheap options from Amazon at first, but honestly, most of them felt like garbage and actually scratched the trim. Not what you want in a Sensory trim!! I've learned the hard way to be super cautious with anything that isn't lined with felt or soft rubber. Here is what I'm using now that actually fits the vibe: 1. First, get the JDMCAR Center Console Organizer Tray for 2022-2025 Infiniti QX55. It fits the dimensions perfectly, but heads-up: the rubber inserts they give you are kinda thin. I actually added some extra padding so it wouldn't rattle on bumpy roads.
2. For the gaps, I use Drop Stop - The Original Patented Seat Gap Filler. It's not "premium leather" but it blends in so well you don't even see it, which is way safer than those bulky plastic pockets that might mess with the power seat motors.
3. In the back, I had issues with groceries flying around. I finally bit the bullet and got the Infiniti Genuine Accessories T99C1-5CH0A Cargo Net. It's overpriced tbh, but the fit is way better than the generic ones that never stay hooked. Basically, my advice is to avoid the hard plastic stuff that doesn't have a soft backing. It'll ruin those premium materials over time. gl! peace
Building on the earlier suggestion, I am gonna have to disagree a bit on those cheap plastic inserts. Unfortunately, the fitment tolerances on those generic trays are often off by a few millimeters, and that micro-rattling is enough to drive anyone crazy in such a quiet cabin. It is kinda disappointing that for a luxury ride, we are stuck trying to fix basic engineering flaws with parts that just dont feel premium. Honestly, be careful with those seat gap fillers too. If you get ones made of rougher synthetic materials, they can actually scuff the side of your leather seats over time from the constant friction. I have seen it happen on other rigs and it is a total nightmare to fix. Compared to the interior utility in something like the Lexus RX 350, the QX55 storage is just lacking that logical flow and depth. The center console dimensions are weirdly inefficient... just be wary of adding anything that isnt lined with felt or soft rubber, otherwise you are just trading one rattle for another. Just my two cents tho.
