I just treated myself to a new Infiniti QX80 Autograph, and man, that quilted semi-aniline leather is stunning! Since it's the top trim, I really want to keep the cabin looking pristine while adding some functional upgrades. I'm specifically looking for high-quality floor liners that don't look too 'industrial' and maybe some clever organizers for that deep center console. I’ve also been considering some subtle seat back protectors since the kids tend to kick the front chairs. I want to maintain that luxury feel without cluttering things up. Does anyone have specific brands or OEM pieces they swear by for this model? What are your must-have interior accessories to elevate the Autograph experience?
Respectfully, I'd actually suggest a different approach if you're really worried about that semi-aniline finish long-term. In my experience, those super high-coverage mats can actually trap grit and moisture against the lower trim panels, which causes micro-scratches over time... literally the last thing you want on a brand new Autograph! I've always found the 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Floor Mats for 2024-2025 Infiniti QX80 to be a much better balance. They have this refined, carbon-fiber-like texture that looks way more high-end than industrial rubber, and they dont slide around at all. For the seat backs, you gotta be really careful—cheap protectors with tight elastic straps can actually cause permanent indentations in that soft quilted leather or even 'bleed' dye if they get hot. I'd suggest the WeatherTech Seat Back Protector because the attachment points are way more stable and less abrasive. Also, if your console has the cooling feature, make sure any organizer doesn't obstruct the airflow... I'd probably stick with the Infiniti OEM Console Divider to be safe. It’s better to use parts designed for the thermal specs of the vehicle, right? Just my two cents, but staying conservative with the mods usually preserves that luxury feel way better. 👍
sooo i went through this exact same struggle last year with my rig. for me, it always comes down to a safety-first perspective because poorly fitted mats are basically a recipe for pedal entrapment... which is literally the last thing you want in a vehicle this size. I compared two main paths for my build: * WeatherTech FloorLiner HP: These use a high-friction TPE that feels way more premium than their classic line. PROS: Serious grip even when wet and they lock into the factory anchors perfectly. CONS: Still looks a bit more utilitarian than the quilted leather vibe.
* Infiniti QX80 OEM All-Season Floor Mats: PROS: Best visual integration and the logo looks classier. CONS: The side walls aren't as high, so if a kid spills a whole juice box, it might hit the carpet. I honestly went with the WeatherTech HP because the material reliability and safety of a non-slip surface won out. For the seats, I ended up using Brica Deluxe Kick Mats—they're super lowkey and didn't distract from the Autograph's interior as much as I thought they would. TL;DR: Prioritize the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP for the safety of the retention clips over pure aesthetics. gl!
yo congrats on the Autograph!! that semi-aniline is seriously next level but i feel u on the maintenance side. honestly i had high hopes for the OEM stuff but i was kinda disappointed with the fitment of some accessories i tried first... TL;DR: Grab the TuxMat for Infiniti QX80 2024-2025 for floors and the Vehicle OCD Center Console Tray for Infiniti QX80 to organize the cabin storage. so for the floor mats, i really wanted that luxury vibe and WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit was just way too industrial looking imo. i switched to the TuxMat for 2024-2025 Infiniti QX80 and they cover almost everything... basically wall-to-wall coverage and they actually feel premium. the texture matches the quilted seats really well tho!! plus the center console is basically a bottomless pit lol. i got the Vesul Center Console Organizer for Infiniti QX80 and it helps keep stuff sorted but unfortunately it rattles a bit if u dont add some felt tape to the edges. kinda annoying for such an expensive car i guess... not as good as i expected from a third party fit but it’s okay. for the seat backs i suggest the Lusso Gear Kick Mat Protectors cuz they look more like leather and wont ruin the aesthetic of ur cabin like the cheap mesh ones do. honestly just wish Infiniti included better storage from the factory!! but yeah, gl with the new ride... peace
