Best performance accessories for the Jaguar F-TYPE R-75 model?

Hey everyone! I finally took delivery of my Jaguar F-TYPE R-75, and man, what a machine. Being the final celebration of the internal combustion F-TYPE, it already feels incredibly special, but I’m starting to look for ways to squeeze a bit more out of that legendary supercharged 5.0L V8. The stock 575hp is massive, but I’ve got that itch to see what else it can do.

I’ve been researching a few options like the VelocityAP ECU tunes and potentially some high-flow 200-cell catalytic converters to really let that signature snap-and-crackle exhaust note sing. However, since this is the R-75 edition, I’m a bit torn on how far to go. I want to improve the throttle response and maybe sharpen the handling even further with something like the VAP lowering springs, but I also want to keep it reliable for those longer coastal drives. I'm also curious if anyone has noticed a real difference with upgraded intake filters or if the stock airboxes are already optimized enough for the AWD setup.

I’m specifically looking for performance accessories that provide a noticeable 'seat-of-the-pants' difference rather than just engine dress-up. I've got a healthy budget for this, but I want to be smart about it. Yo, congrats on the R-75! Honestly, that V8 is a beast, but there’s definitely room to sharpen it up. I had some issues with heat soak on my old SVR tho, which was super disappointing during summer runs—it basically pulls timing once it gets hot. If you want that real *seat-of-the-pants* feel, you gotta look at the boost levels. I’d suggest these specific upgrades for reliability and punch: 1. VelocityAP Jaguar 5.0L V8 Supercharger Upper Pulley - This increases the blower speed for way more low-end torque.
2. Forge Motorsport Jaguar F-Type V8 Chargecooler Radiator - Essential because the stock cooling is honestly not as good as expected for aggressive driving.
3. VelocityAP Jaguar F-Type ZF8 Transmission Tune - This actually makes the shifts feel crisp and removes that factory slushiness. Id definitely prioritize the cooling and a TCU tune together. tbh, since you’ve got the R-75, I’d be really careful about going too aggressive with the powertrain right away. it’s a literal collector's item, and pushing that supercharged V8 much further might compromise the long-term reliability you’re after. basically, the factory setup is already quite high-strung for that AWD system... if you want a real 'seat-of-the-pants' change without the risk of voiding warranties or causing mechanical headaches, focus on where the power actually meets the pavement. honestly, the best budget-friendly move is upgrading to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 295/30ZR20 tires. the stock rubber is okay, but the Michelins provide way more confidence in the corners and better off-the-line grip. also, for better modulation and pedal feel on those coastal drives, I would suggest Porterfield R4-S High Performance Street Brake Pads. they give you a much sharper bite than the OEM pads without the insane dust. make sure to get a proper performance alignment too—it’s cheap and completely changes how the car rotates. gl with the build!!

Seconding the recommendation above about heat management! If youre gonna push that V8, you gotta make sure it stops just as hard. Ive used Castrol SRF React Racing Brake Fluid for years and its honestly a lifesaver for those long coastal runs. Basically prevents pedal fade when things get hot. Also, grab Goodridge Stainless Steel Phantom Brake Lines for better pedal feel. Safety first, right?

yo, congrats on the R-75! honestly such a sick machine. i was in the same boat with my R last year... i wanted more power but didnt want to ruin the daily drivability or make it unreliable for road trips. basically, i went with the VelocityAP Jaguar F-Type V8 ECU Tune and it was a night and day difference. it costs around $1k but the throttle response is literally instant now. i also added the VelocityAP Jaguar F-Type V8 200 Cell Sport Catalytic Converters which i think are essential if u want that raw V8 sound without the weird smell or drone of catless pipes. for the handling, i definately recommend the VelocityAP Jaguar F-Type AWD Lowering Springs for about $600. it actually makes the car feel way more planted in the corners without breaking ur back on long drives. i was worried it would be too stiff but its totally fine for coastal cruising. regarding the intake... honestly the stock boxes are pretty good. i just swapped in BMC FB745/08 High Performance Air Filters to let it breathe a bit better. it adds a tiny bit more supercharger whine which is cool, but dont expect huge HP gains from just filters tho. lesson learned for me was that the R-75 is already so good that u dont need to go crazy with hardware to feel a difference. the tune + springs + filters is the sweet spot for value and performance without making it a headache to own. its highkey the best way to spend ur budget. good luck with the build man, youre gonna love it!
