I’m looking for some recommendations on a solid cargo organizer for my Jeep Compass. The trunk space is a bit unique, and I’m struggling to find something that fits perfectly without sliding around every time I take a turn. I usually carry a mix of groceries, some emergency roadside gear, and my hiking boots, so I need something with adjustable compartments. Does anyone have experience with a specific brand that fits the Compass dimensions well? I’m particularly interested in one that stays secure on the carpet and doesn't take up the entire trunk. What are you guys using to keep your gear from flying around back there?

For your situation, I actually found something that works well for me cuz I was worried about the same thing. I'm kinda a cautious driver and hate hearing stuff slide around in the back of my Compass lol. Honestly, I'm super satisfied with the Drive Auto Products Car Cargo Organizer. It has these tie-down straps that hook into the trunk floor loops so it LITERALLY doesn't budge when ur taking corners.
I basically use it for:
- My hiking boots in one side
- Emergency roadside gear in the middle
- Groceries on the other end
It's got adjustable dividers which is nice, but definitely make sure you secure those straps tight! I was a bit nervous about it taking up too much room but it fits the Compass dimensions pretty well without being overkill. Maybe check that one out? It definitely keeps my gear from flying around everywhere. gl!
Sooo I’m pretty new to all this but I’ve been *obsessed* with finding the right fit for my Compass! I highkey recommend checking out the Starling's Car Trunk Organizer with Adjustable Compartments and Tie-Down Straps. It's AMAZING because it actually has straps that clip into the trunk hooks so it literally CANNOT slide around! It's like $40 and fits the smaller Compass trunk perfectly without taking up everything. Love it!! 👍

I totally agree with the first post—grip is everything. Honestly, I'd suggest looking into semi-rigid organizers over the fully soft ones. The soft ones basically collapse under heavy boots, but a semi-rigid wall holds up better against lateral G-forces when you're turning, especially if it's got heavy-duty velcro strips on the base. Just make sure the dimensions aren't too wide for the Compass floor!
Nice, didn't know that
Same boat, watching this
Respectfully, I'd consider another option because those soft-sided bins just dont stay put in a Compass. Unfortunately, they slide around way too much on the factory carpet. Honestly, I've had issues with those cheaper ones failing when I haul my heavy boots, so I switched to the Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Organizer. It’s around $70, but the non-slip bottom is LEGIT. It actually stays anchored during sharp turns, which is safer for your gear anyway!!
Did this last week, worked perfectly
