Ive bought plenty of cars over the years so I know how the game works but man these Kia dealers are something else. I'm trying to grab a Telluride SX-Prestige before my road trip on the 15th and my logic was that since the hype died down a bit I could get one at MSRP. Wrong. Im seeing 5k markups everywhere in North Jersey and some of these guys wont even send me the spec sheet without a credit check first. My budget is 55k and I need a place that isnt gonna tack on some protection package for 3 grand. Anyone know a reliable spot that actually plays fair? I'm willing to drive a few hours...
Honestly, North Jersey is the absolute worst for markups. In my experience, you gotta leave the immediate area to find a fair deal on a Kia Telluride SX-Prestige V6 AWD. Check out Nutley Kia, they're one of the few that actually stick to MSRP. Also, look into PA dealers. The extra two hour drive is totally worth saving five grand in fluff fees and fake protection packages.
Unfortunately, local dealers arent as good as expected. TL;DR: Search Maryland for the Kia Telluride SX-Prestige X-Line V6 to save. Tip: Get the OTD price first. Which interior color are you hunting tho?
