I'm looking to add some high-quality carbon fiber to my SF90 Stradale. I'm specifically interested in a more aggressive front lip and side skirts that match the OEM weave perfectly. Has anyone here tried 1016 Industries or Novitec parts? I'm worried about fitment issues. What brands would you recommend for the best finish and durability?

yo, in my experience, Novitec Carbon Fiber Front Spoiler for Ferrari SF90 Stradale is the gold standard for fitment. Over the years, I've tried many sets and 1016 Industries Carbon Fiber Side Skirts for Ferrari SF90 Stradale actually look super aggressive, but Novitecs weave is basically a perfect match for Ferraris OEM carbon. If ur worried about gaps or finish, Novitec is the safest bet tho - definitely go that route. gl!

So basically the consensus is that Novitec has the best weave match, while 1016 is more aggressive as the guys said. If your looking for high quality but want to save cash, I had RSC Tuning Carbon Fiber Front Lip for Ferrari SF90 Stradale on my last project and its solid. It uses that same pre-preg autoclave process at a BETTER price point. Just make sure its definitely 2x2 twill 3k weave so it matches ur OEM parts! gl!

OMG I am literally in the middle of this same exact struggle right now! Spending hours yesterday just staring at the weave on my rear diffuser was exhausting, trying to figure out if Ryft Carbon Fiber Front Lip for Ferrari SF90 Stradale would actually look right next to it or if I'm gonna regret it. It is so nerve-wracking because once you mount that stuff, you are committed. DIYing my whole aero kit means the fitment anxiety is through the roof! Quick tip for you: always measure the thickness of the mounting tabs with a digital caliper before you start. Sometimes aftermarket tabs are just a hair thicker than OEM and you will end up snapping a clip if you force it. Also, definitely wrap the pieces in XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film before they go on the car... save yourself the heartbreak of rock chips on that beautiful gloss! Love the SF90 but man, these carbon choices are stressful!

Checking in about an hour later with a slightly different take for ya. In my experience, while everyone jumps to Novitec because it is the safe choice, you can get a more unique look if you branch out to some of the smaller batch producers. I have been looking at these for my own builds over the years and the quality has caught up big time.

  • Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber Front Spoiler for Ferrari SF90 Stradale
  • Their pre-preg process is incredibly clean and the weave direction usually lines up perfectly with the factory trunk carbon.
  • RYFT Carbon Fiber Side Skirts for Ferrari SF90 Stradale
  • If you want aggressive, this is it. They use a 100% dry carbon method which keeps the weight down and the finish is super sharp.
  • Mansory Carbon Fiber Front Lip for Ferrari SF90 Stradale
  • Just a warning, this is very loud visually. The weave is good, but the fitment often requires a professional shop to do some slight shimming to get the gaps factory-tight. Definitely spend some time looking at the high-res galleries on the Ryft website or even the Vorsteiner SF90 catalog. Seeing the parts under studio lights helps you see if the clear coat has that same slightly blue/grey tint that the OEM Ferrari carbon has. Honestly, most people wont notice a tiny weave difference, but as an enthusiast, itll bug you if its not right... trust me on that.

Seconding the recommendation above! Basically, before you drop the cash, you gotta understand that Ferrari uses a specific 2x2 twill 3k weave on the SF90. To get that perfect OEM look, the aftermarket stuff MUST be pre-preg carbon cured in an autoclave. Otherwise, it wont match the depth or the light reflection of the factory pieces. I totally agree that Novitec is the gold standard for fitment as mentioned, but I've honestly seen some incredible technical quality from a few other brands that give you that aggressive edge you're looking for:

  • Capristo Carbon Fiber Front Spoiler for Ferrari SF90 Stradale
  • Vorsteiner Carbon Fiber Side Skirts for Ferrari SF90 Stradale
  • Mansory Carbon Fiber Front Lip for Ferrari SF90 Stradale I've worked with these brands for years and they actually hold up to high heat cycles without yellowing or delaminating. Tbh, as long as you stick to high-end dry carbon, you'll be fine. Good luck with the build!!
