Hey everyone! I just picked up a new Kia Telluride and I’m absolutely loving it so far, but I’m already worried about keeping the interior clean. Between the kids’ soccer practice, muddy shoes, and the occasional spilled coffee, those factory carpet mats aren't going to last a week. I’m looking for the best all-weather floor mats that provide maximum coverage, especially for the second and third rows. I’ve been looking at the WeatherTech Laser Measured liners because they seem to have the highest edges, but I’ve also heard some people mention that Husky Liners or even the OEM Kia premium liners might have a better fit and feel underfoot. My main concern is finding something that doesn't slide around and actually traps liquid rather than letting it run off onto the carpet. Does anyone have experience with these brands in their Telluride? I'm particularly interested in how they handle the area around the captain's chairs. Which brand do you think offers the best durability and fit for the price?
For your situation, I actually had a pretty disappointing time with the WeatherTech FloorLiner DigitalFit. Honestly, the edges started curling after just a year and let gunk slip underneath.
I swapped to these instead:
1. Husky Liners Weatherbeater Floor Mats - These stay in place WAY better because of the nibs on the back.
2. Kia Telluride Genuine OEM Premium All-Weather Cargo Mat - The fit around the captain's chairs is just better since it's factory.
I mean, the Husky ones are basically cheaper too, so it's a win-win i guess. gl!

sooo i actually went through two sets of mats because i was tryna save money and honestly? it backfired lol. i first tried some generic trim-to-fit ones and they were basically useless cuz the juice just leaked everywhere anyway...
for a technical but budget-friendly fix i suggest Smartliner Custom Fit Floor Mats for Kia Telluride. they have the high walls you're looking for but are cheaper than weathertech. if u want something even more basic but sturdy, look at Rough Country Floor Mats for Kia Telluride. they dont feel quite as premium underfoot but their literal job is trapping mud and they stay put. hope that helps ur search!! 👍
Sooo, congrats on the new Telluride! I totally get the anxiety about the interior... those factory carpets are basically magnets for juice boxes and mud. Since you're looking for technical precision and max coverage, I HIGHLY recommend looking at TuxMat Custom Fit Floor Mats for Kia Telluride.
I've done a deep dive into the specs of these compared to the big names, and honestly, the technical design of TuxMat is on another level. While WeatherTech is great for utility, TuxMat uses a three-layer system with a vertical coverage design that literally goes all the way up to the plastic trim. It basically turns your footwell into a sealed tub!!
Here’s why they’re fantastic for the Telluride:
* **Maximum Surface Area:** They cover way more carpet than Husky or WeatherTech, especially in the second row around the captain's chairs.
* **Material Composition:** They use a high-end TuxMat PVC 3-Layer Luxury Floor Liner tech that feels way more premium underfoot than hard plastic liners.
* **Retention:** They come with these cool clips that tuck under your interior trim, so they literally CANNOT slide around.
If you want something a bit more rugged but with a better tactile feel than the laser-measured stuff, check out 3D MAXpider Kagu Series Floor Mats for Kia Telluride. They have a patented "MAXpider" backing that grips the carpet like Velcro without damaging it. Anyway, both of these are amazing for trapping liquids cuz of the high-wall design. Good luck with the new ride! 👍
tl;dr: prioritize the fit and reliability over everything else if you want it to last! ^ This. Also, I honestly spent way too much time worrying about this when I first got my Telly! I remember my first big road trip with the kids... someone dropped an entire large soda in the second row and I was terrified. But the set I ended up getting handled it like a absolute champ! It stayed exactly where it was supposed to and didnt let a single drop touch the actual carpet. I love how my current setup looks because it doesnt have that industrial plastic feel, you know? Its been amazing seeing how well they hold up after a couple years of heavy use. The fit is still just as tight as day one which is huge for me since I hate when things start sliding around under the pedals. Youre gonna love the peace of mind once you get something solid in there!
