Looking through the thread, it seems most folks have focused on the rubber itself like the Michelins or Goodyears, but for the actual monitoring hardware, we gotta be more specific. The LC 500 has a pretty sensitive direct system, so you want something that communicates perfectly with the Lexus ECU without throwing codes. Well actually, if youre replacing the sensors for a new set of wheels, I always suggest:

  • Denso TPMS Sensor 550-0105
  • Autel MX-Sensor 433MHz
  • Dill Air Controls 7002P Basically, Denso is the OEM supplier for Lexus, so it is the safest bet for long-term reliability. If youre wanting more than just the basic dash readout, you should definitely check out a dedicated OBDII monitor. A lot of us in the community use the OBDLink MX+ because it pulls live pressure and temperature data that the factory dash sometimes hides. Honestly, knowing your internal tire temp is CRITICAL if youre taking the LC out for some spirited driving. Using high-quality sensors prevents those annoying phantom warnings you get with cheap universal ones. Keep it high-end to match the car!

Like someone mentioned, getting the right monitors for this car is such a total nightmare! Omg I have this exact same issue right now... been dealing with it for like two months and still nothing works for my setup. Honestly its so frustrating because I am trying to find a practical fix but I just keep hitting dead ends!

  • Looked at every thread for a cheaper way out
  • Still staring at that annoying warning light
  • Totally stumped on which hardware actually talks to the car I absolutely love this car but this sensor situation is just the worst! If you find anything that actually works, please let me know and I will keep digging on my end too... we gotta figure this out!
