Just took delivery of my LX 700h and I'm obsessed, but I need to protect that cargo space from my muddy camping gear and the dogs. I’m looking for something heavy-duty that won’t slip. Does the hybrid floor require a specific cut? Which brands are currently offering the most durable, custom-fit liners for this model?

For your situation, I'd definitely be careful because of that hybrid battery setup. Since I'm still kinda new to the LX 700h, I was super worried about the fitment too... basically the hybrid floor is slightly different than the standard gas versions cuz of the battery hump. Honestly, I went with the WeatherTech FloorLiner HP Cargo Mat and it's been a lifesaver. It fits perfectly and doesn't slip at all when my lab jumps in, which was my biggest fear tbh. I mean, you gotta make sure you select the specific hybrid trim when ordering or it wont sit flush. Another decent option I've seen people mention is the Lexus Genuine LX 700h All-Weather Cargo Tray, but I think the WeatherTech has higher sides for that muddy camping gear. Just be gentle when installing it so you dont scuff the trim!

Quick question - before I give my full advice, are you planning to keep the third row folded down most of the time? I've been doing this for 15 years and unfortunately, some liners are *terrible* if you're constantly flipping seats. I've had issues with custom cuts not lining up right on the LX hybrid hump. Anyway, lmk cuz that totally changes which budget-friendly Husky Liners WeatherBeater Cargo Liner or Smartliner Custom Fit Cargo Trunk Liner I'd suggest. Both are way cheaper than OEM but fitment is tricky with that battery!

Honestly, the LX 700h hybrid floor is a safety hazard if you get the wrong fitment because of battery ventilation issues, you know? I'd just stick with TuxMat or Canvasback, they're basically the best for high-quality coverage.

OMG sooo excited for u!! But seriously, I'd be super CAUTIOUS with that hybrid floor cuz the battery stuff is basically right there under the hump... honestly i'm kinda worried about heat too?? I'd look into:

1. **WeatherTech** - I mean, they're like the standard for durability but idk if their current LX cut fits the 700h battery hump perfectly yet.
2. **TuxMat** - Highkey love the coverage on these!! They're usually way more custom-feeling and might handle the dog hair better than the rubber ones.

I guess just double-check with the brands first cuz u dont wanna mess with the airflow stuff lol!! definitely go for the most rugged option u can find tho cuz muddy gear is literally the worst. gl!!
