Honestly, I am pretty new to keeping a car this nice, but I learned the hard way about those cheap portable vacuums you find everywhere online. I thought any small one would work for my IS 500 but ngl most of them are reallyyy weak and just dont pick up much. My biggest warning would be to check the nozzle material before you buy anything. Some have these really hard, sharp plastic edges that can definitely scratch up the console or the leather if you slip - basically a nightmare for a new car. Also, be careful with the ones that plug into the 12V outlet... I was so worried about draining my battery while I was cleaning that I barely got anything done. I mean, maybe that is just me being paranoid? It might be better to just use a big shop vac at home if you have one, or at least find something with a soft brush attachment so you dont ruin the interior. Does anyone else worry about the battery? I might be overthinking it tbh but better safe than sorry.
