Hey everyone! I just recently took delivery of a new Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring, and I’m absolutely loving the quiet ride and that premium interior. However, with the rainy season fast approaching and some weekend trips to the mountains planned, I really need to find a solid set of all-weather floor mats to keep the carpet pristine.
I want something that offers heavy-duty protection against mud and slush but doesn't make the cabin look like a utility truck. Since the Grand Touring is a plug-in hybrid, I’ve heard rumors that the floor dimensions might be slightly different in the rear or near the console compared to the standard gas models due to the battery placement. Has anyone found this to be true when ordering mats?
I’ve been eyeing the official Lincoln accessory mats because they have the nice "Corsair" branding, but I’ve also seen people rave about TuxMat for that high-end look or WeatherTech for pure durability. I’m specifically looking for a set that has high edges to catch spills and fits snugly without sliding around.
Does anyone here have a Grand Touring specifically? I’d love to hear which brand you went with and if you encountered any fitment issues. What do you think are the absolute best all-weather mats for maintaining that luxury feel while getting maximum protection?
Sooo, for your situation, I actually just went through this with my GT!! Honestly, I was pretty worried about the rear floor mats not fitting right because of the battery too. I did a bunch of research and decided to keep it simple and go with the Lincoln Corsair All-Weather Floor Liners. They're actually cheaper than the TuxMats if you catch a dealer promo, and since I'm trying to save a bit after that down payment, it worked out lol. The fit is seriously perfect. No sliding at all. My quick tip is to make sure you get the ones specifically listed for the PHEV model though, cuz the rear hump is definitely a bit different. I'm really happy with how they look—they don't give off that work truck vibe at all. Plus having the Corsair branding makes it feel legit. Tbh, they've been great for mud so far. Good luck with the new ride, it's such a smooth car!!
Seconding the recommendation above! honestly, i tried some generic mats and they were *terrible*... they didn't account for the battery hump in the GT. if you want high edges and that luxury vibe, TuxMat for Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring is basically your best bet. just be cautious and double-check the SKU cuz the PHEV floor is definitely different... otherwise they'll bunch up and look like trash. gl!
Not to disagree, but I'd suggest a different approach. I've seen custom mats for the GT bunch up near the pedals cuz of that battery hump—real safety risk tbh. In my current setup, I just used a heavy-duty trim-to-fit set. It was way cheaper and fits perfect without sliding... might wanna consider that before dropping big money on brands that might not fit 100% right. gotta stay safe! gl
