Hey everyone! I recently picked up a new Lincoln Nautilus Hybrid and I’m absolutely in love with the smooth ride and the tech. However, with the sun starting to beat down, I’ve noticed the cabin gets warm pretty quickly, and I’m worried about UV damage to that beautiful interior over time. Since it’s a hybrid, I’m also trying to keep the AC usage reasonable to help with efficiency, so I’m looking into high-quality window tints and perhaps some custom sunshades.

I’m specifically curious about ceramic vs. carbon options. I’ve heard ceramic is the way to go for maximum heat rejection, but I want to make sure it won’t interfere with any of the car’s sensors or electronics. Does anyone have experience matching the front window tint to the factory privacy glass on the rear? I’m looking for a seamless, high-end look without going too dark and making it hard to see at night. Also, if you’ve found a specific brand of sunshade that fits that massive windshield perfectly without sagging, please let me know. My budget is around $500–$700 for the project.

For those of you who have already tinted your Nautilus, what brand and darkness percentage did you go with, and would you recommend it for heat control?

Unfortunately, carbon was a disappointment.
- 3M Color Stable Series: Cheaper, bad heat rejection.
- XPEL PRIME XR PLUS Ceramic Window Film: Superior cooling, 20% matches rear.
- WeatherTech Custom Fit SunShade fits perfectly!

Quick reply while I have a sec! In my experience, you should deffinitely look at these:

- LLumar FormulaOne Stratos: It's nanoceramic, so it wont mess with ur GPS or sensors but blocks heat highkey well.
- 3M Crystalline Series Window Film: Amazing heat rejection without being dark at all.
- Covercraft Custom UVS100 Sunshade: Fits the Nautilus perfectly and doesnt sag over time.

Basically, 35% matches the rear glass well. gl!
