I’m loving my new Lincoln Nautilus, but I need to stop groceries from sliding around that spacious trunk! I’m looking for a premium cargo organizer that fits the dimensions perfectly without looking cheap. Has anyone found one that matches the interior well and stays secure on the carpet? What are your top-rated picks for keeping things organized?

sooo i went through this last year when i first got my Nautilus and honestly it was kind of a nightmare at first. i spent way too much on those cheap mesh nets and they literally did nothing to stop my groceries from flying around whenever i took a turn!! basically i wasted a bunch of money trying to be 'frugal' and ended up with a trunk full of spilled milk and broken eggs. i finally realized that for a premium car like this, you gotta invest in something that actually sticks to the carpet properly.

* Just go with WeatherTech if you want that secure grip
* Look into any trunk organizers from Rola too
* Check out the official Lincoln accessories shop first

I mean, i learned the hard way that saving twenty bucks isnt worth the headache of cleaning your upholstery every week... i'm still a bit disappointed that the stock trunk is so slick, but getting a solid brand name organizer totally fixed it for me. gl with the new ride though, it's a beauty!!!

TL;DR: Avoid generic collapsible bins; they slide like crazy. Go for a semi-rigid organizer with a high-friction rubberized base instead of just velcro.

Sooo I gotta warn you first: don't just buy a cheap universal one from a big box store. Honestly, I had issues with those because the Nautilus carpet is actually pretty high-quality and dense, so those cheap velcro strips literally wont grip it at all. It's so frustrating when the whole organizer tips over anyway!

For your situation, I would suggest looking at the OEM Lincoln cargo accessories or a high-end brand like WeatherTech. Basically, you want something with a weighted bottom or specific grip tech. I'm kinda a nerd for specs, and most cheap bins use low-grade polyester that looks wierd in a premium interior. Stick to heavy-duty 600D fabric. It fits the vibe way better and actually stays put during cornering. Hope that helps, gl! 👍

Seconding the recommendation above! Those generic ones are basically projectiles in a crash, which is super dangerous. Safety-wise, you need weight and grip. I use the Rola 59001 M.O.V.E. Rigid Base Trunk Organizer because it actually stays put on the Nautilus carpet without sliding.

1. It's got a non-slip base that’s legit heavy-duty.
2. The rigid walls won't collapse under heavy groceries.

Basically, dont go cheap or it'll just fly around lol. Good luck!

Regarding what #6 said about "sooo i went through this last year when..." - i totally felt that! Nothing is worse than the sound of stuff crashing around in a luxury ride, its just heartbreaking. After owning mine for a few years now, i can say the advice here is absolutely amazing for long-term reliability. Basically, the group consensus is:

  • Avoid flimsy mesh nets at all costs.
  • Weight and a rubberized base are your best friends.
  • Rigid walls are essential so groceries dont tip. I really love how safety-conscious everyone is being! One thing to add is that a heavy base also protects the actual carpet from wear over time too. Honestly, it makes such a difference when you arent constantly worrying about a gallon of milk flying around the trunk. Love seeing this community help out!
