What are the best all-weather floor mats for the Mazda MX-30?

Hey everyone! I recently picked up a new Mazda MX-30, and while I absolutely love the sustainable interior and those unique cork accents, I’m getting a bit nervous about the upcoming rainy season. The stock carpet mats look great, but they are definitely not going to survive the mud and slush that I usually drag into the car.

I’ve been looking around for a solid set of all-weather floor mats that will actually protect the floorboards without ruining the aesthetic of the cabin. Since the MX-30 has that specific floating console and a slightly different floor layout compared to the CX-30, I want to make sure I get something with a perfect fit. I’m particularly concerned about the driver’s side dead pedal area—I’ve had mats in the past that didn't cover that spot, and the carpet ended up getting ruined by salt stains.

I checked the official Mazda accessory catalog, and their high-wall rubber mats look decent, but they’re a bit pricey. I’ve also been looking at aftermarket options like WeatherTech or TuxMat, but I haven't seen many confirmed photos of them inside an MX-30 yet. I’m looking for something that has deep enough channels to hold water but isn't so industrial-looking that it feels like I'm driving a work truck. Budget-wise, I’m willing to spend up to $200 for a full set if the quality and fitment are top-notch.

Has anyone here already upgraded their mats? I’d love to hear if you went with the OEM Mazda ones or if there’s an aftermarket brand that fits the unique dimensions of the MX-30 better. Also, how do they handle the fit around the rear seats since space is a bit tighter back there? Looking forward to hearing what you all are using!

Seconding the recommendation above for coverage! Honestly, I've tried many mats over the years, and safety is my #1 concern. You don't want a mat sliding under your brake pedal, right? I went with TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats for Mazda MX-30 because they clip in so securely. They actually cover the entire dead pedal area so salt doesn't ruin the carpet, plus they aren't slippery when wet. Definitely worth the $200 for the peace of mind imo!

Just sharing my experience: I went through this exact same struggle when I first got my MX-30 last year. Honestly, I’m a bit of a DIY enthusiast and I've spent years obsessing over car interiors, so I totally get the salt stain anxiety. I actually tried a few different setups because I’m super picky about that dead pedal coverage too!!

I looked at the options already mentioned, but ended up trying out the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Floor Mats for Mazda MX-30. They have this kinda carbon fiber texture that matches the modern vibe of the MX-30 way better than heavy rubber. They literally click into the floor anchors and don't budge. Basically, my tip is to look for something with a raised edge that specifically tucks behind the plastic trim. It makes cleaning way easier than the industrial bucket styles. gl with the rainy season! 👍

Curious about one thing: are you looking for more of a "bucket" style fit that goes up the walls, or something lower profile? I've seen some technical specs on the TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats for Mazda MX-30 and they actually offer huge coverage, including that dead pedal area you mentioned. If you want something less industrial than WeatherTech FloorLiner, TuxMat is definitely more "premium" looking... but I'm not 100% sure if the thick material interferes with the unique floating console layout? Let me know and I can dig into the clearance specs!

I totally feel u on that! When I first got my MX-30, I was sooo worried about that dead pedal too. Honestly, I played it safe and spent the extra cash on the Mazda MX-30 High Wall All-Weather Floor Mats. They actually fit perfectly around that unique floating console and cover the dead pedal high enough to keep the salt off. No complaints at all, they've been SERIOUSLY reliable. 👍
