I just picked up a 2024 Mazda CX-5, and I’m absolutely loving the premium feel of the cabin! I want to keep it looking brand new for as long as possible while adding some extra functionality. I’m already looking into some high-quality all-weather floor mats because the stock ones seem a bit thin, and I definitely need a better way to organize the deep center console—it’s like a black hole in there! I'm trying to find accessories that match the sleek aesthetic without looking tacky or cheap. For those of you who have had a CX-5 for a while, what are the must-have interior accessories you’d recommend to improve the daily driving experience?

> I definitely need a better way to organize the deep center console—it’s like a black hole in there! Honestly, i feel u on the "black hole" console lol. I'm kinda new to the CX-5 scene, but i already had a bad experience with a cheap generic tray that rattled constantly... so annoying. I finally got the JDMSPEED Center Console Organizer Tray for 2017-2024 Mazda CX-5 and it actually fits the 2024 specs perfectly. For the floors, i went with TuxMat All-Weather Floor Mats for 2017-2024 Mazda CX-5 Custom Fit cuz they cover way more carpet than the WeatherTech FloorLiner for Mazda CX-5. unfortunately the Mazda screen plastic is super soft and scratches easily, which sucks. i really recommend the LFOTPP 10.25-inch Navigation Screen Protector for 2024 Mazda CX-5 to keep it looking fresh. basically saves ur dash from looking old. anyway, hope this helps! peace

Regarding what #4 said about "> I definitely need a better way to..."

  • I am right there with you. Honestly, I've had three different CX-5s over the last decade and that center console is still the bane of my existence. It is basically a portal to another dimension where chapstick and parking receipts go to die. I have seen so many people ruin their nice new interiors by jumping on the first thing they see online. After years of testing different setups, here is what I have learned to be careful about:
  • Don't buy those generic one size fits all gap fillers. They usually interfere with the seat adjustment motors and can actually burn the fuse if they get jammed.
  • Be cautious with cheap screen protectors. Some of the adhesive ones are a nightmare to remove and can actually delaminate the infotainment screen if you are not careful.
  • Avoid the hard plastic organizers that do not have rubber inserts. The rattling will drive you absolutely insane on the highway. I am still looking for the perfect setup for my 2024 too, because even as a long-time owner, I still have not found a kit that does not feel like it is cheapening the cabin.
