I recently picked up a Mercedes GLB and love the seven-seat configuration, but I’m struggling to find the right protection for that third row. Since the space is a bit tight and the seats fold down frequently for extra trunk space, I need something that fits perfectly without bunching up or interfering with the folding mechanism. I’m mainly worried about the kids tracking mud back there or spilling snacks on the upholstery. I’ve looked at some generic liners, but they seem too bulky. Does anyone have recommendations for custom-fit protectors or heavy-duty seat covers that still allow easy access to the pull-straps? Also, should I go with a split-cover design or a one-piece cargo mat that extends over the backs? What are you all using to keep your GLB’s interior looking sharp?

For your situation, I'd suggest looking at some more budget-friendly options that actually work! Honestly, the OEM stuff is sooo expensive. I found the Mixsuper Custom Fit Cargo Liner for Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 with 3rd Row on Amazon for like $70 and it’s amazing!!

1. Go with a split-cover design—it’s basically the only way to fold seats without it bunching up.
2. Try the Kust All Weather Floor Mats for Mercedes Benz GLB 200/250 if you want to save cash over WeatherTech.

It’s lowkey a lifesaver for snacks lol!

For your situation, I've been looking into this a lot cuz I'm also worried about the kids' safety when they're climbing back there. Honestly, safety-first is my main vibe—you don't want a mat that's gonna slide around and block the seatbelt buckles or the latch points, right??

I reallyyy recommend checking out the TuxMat Custom Car Mats for Mercedes-Benz GLB 7-Seater. They offer some of the best coverage I've seen and they literally stay in place with these little clips so they won't bunch up when you fold the seats. Also, if you want something specifically for the upholstery, the Lusso Gear Kids Car Seat Protector is a decent option to put under car seats or just for the kids to sit on—it's heavy-duty enough to catch spills but thin enough that it doesn't mess with the folding. Basically, you gotta make sure whatever you get doesn't block the pull-straps, cuz that's a huge safety hazard in an emergency! It kinda depends on your needs, but keeping it simple is usually best. 👍

For your situation, honestly, I'd skip the generic mats. They're basically a nightmare for the folding mechanism. I went with the Mercedes-Benz GLB X247 Third Row All-Season Floor Mats for the floor and the WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Mercedes-Benz GLB with 3rd Row Seats for the back. It's a split-design which is HUGE because you can actually use the pull-straps without fighting the material. It keeps the mud off the upholstery perfectly and fits like a glove! 👍

Quick question - are u looking for covers for when the seats are up with kids in 'em, or for when they're folded flat for cargo? cuz TuxMat Custom Integrated Trunk Liner for Mercedes GLB is basically perfect for the cargo setup, while 3D MAXpider Kagu All-Weather Floor Mats for Mercedes-Benz GLB with 3rd Row covers the floor better tbh.
