Hey everyone! Winter is just around the corner, and I’m starting to get a bit worried about the interior of my Mercedes CLA. My car currently has the factory carpet mats, but with all the slush, salt, and mud we get here, I know those are going to get trashed pretty quickly. I really want to keep the cabin looking pristine, but I’m torn on which direction to go for winter protection.
I’ve been looking at the official Mercedes-Benz all-season floor trays, but I’ve also heard great things about WeatherTech and TuxMat. I’m specifically looking for something that has a precise, edge-to-edge fit so that melted snow doesn’t seep into the side carpets. Since the CLA has a bit of a sportier interior layout, I want a mat that provides heavy-duty protection without looking too industrial or clunky. yo, so i've been through this exact dilemma with my CLA 250... i'm pretty picky about the interior looking sporty and not like a construction site lol. basically, if you want that edge-to-edge coverage, i'd say TuxMat Custom Fit Floor Mats for Mercedes-Benz CLA are the way to go. they cover literally everything, even the sides of the footwell, so salt wont touch your carpet. honestly, the WeatherTech FloorLiner for Mercedes-Benz CLA is okay, but they feel kinda stiff and plasticky imo. the TuxMats have a more premium, leather-like texture that fits the mercedes vibe way better. plus, salt wipes off pretty easy with just a wet rag. gl!

Honestly, if you want to avoid that industrial look but need serious protection, I'd go with Mercedes-Benz CLA All-Season Floor Trays. They're like $120 and the fit is literally perfect.

Seconding the recommendation above for the OEM trays! But honestly, I'm a bit of a safety nerd and unfortunately had issues with mats sliding around in my old car... super sketchy. If ur worried about pedal interference, just make sure whatever u get has the proper retention clips. The WeatherTech FloorLiner for Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class is decent, but some say they're kinda slippery when wet. Just make sure they're locked in tight so they don't bunch up near the brakes!! gl
