Depends on what exactly you want to improve on Mercedes-Benz EQE500. Performance or comfort?

To add to the point above, it looks like everyone got a bit turned around talking about dash cams, but focusing back on the actual seat covers for the EQE500... compatibility is a massive deal here. In my experience, these seats are packed with sensors for the Pre-Safe system and side-bolster airbags. If you put a thick, non-breathable cover on, you might mess with the seat ventilation or, worse, block an airbag deployment. I've tried many brands over the years and for a car this tech-heavy, generic covers are a disaster. You need something that wont interfere with the occupant classification system sensors in the base. I'd personally look at Coverking Rhinohide Custom Seat Covers or Wet Okole Neoprene Custom Seat Covers since they are laser-cut for specific trims. They have the documented breakaway seams for the airbags which is a non-negotiable for me. Just double check the fitment for the power headrests too, cause those motors can get strained if the cover is too tight.

> focusing back on the actual seat covers for the EQE500... compatibility is a massive deal here. In my experience, these seats are packed with sensors... @Reply #9 - good point! Honestly, its pretty disappointing that half this thread is just spamming dash cams. Those EQE seats are high-tech and most covers just ruin the functionality. I've looked at the specs and unfortunately most materials are way too dense for the seat sensors and ventilation.

  • Clazzio PVC Custom Seat Covers: The fit is tight but the PVC is a heat trap. It basically kills the cooled seat function and the material thickness is known to mess with the occupant classification system.
  • CalTrend EuroSport Spacer Mesh Seat Covers: This spacer mesh is technically superior for airflow. It doesnt block the fans as much, tho the aesthetics are kind of a step down for a luxury car like the EQE. Ngl, most aftermarket options for the W295 chassis are not as good as expected. You're better off with mesh if you must cover them, but its a compromise.
