Ok so I'm fairly new to the whole Mercedes scene but I was in the same boat recently!!! I ended up going with a brand I’ve always trusted for my other cars and it has been great so far. Realy glad I did it because the visibility out the back of the SL550 is... not the best lol. If you are looking for a solid setup, I’d suggest looking at:

* Wireless options if you dont want to tear the whole dash apart.
* A kit that specifically mentions 'night vision' or low light stuff. Just get basically any Pioneer gear and you should be set. I'm still figuring out how to get the lines to line up perfectly on my screen though... has anyone else had trouble with that?? It definately makes parking way less stressful tho!
