I just picked up a Nissan Titan and I'm planning to use it for some pretty heavy hauling, including gravel and metal equipment. I’m worried about the bed getting beat up and rusting, so I’m looking for a serious heavy-duty liner. I’ve been looking at the classic Spray-on options like Line-X, but I’ve also heard good things about the DualLiner systems for a more cushioned fit. Since the Titan has the Utili-track system, I need something that won't interfere with the rails or the LED bed lighting. Does anyone have experience with which liners hold up best against dents and heavy impact? What’s the most durable option you’d recommend for a working Titan?

Honestly, if you're gonna be tossing gravel and metal equipment back there, I gotta be the cautious one and say you need to worry about DENTS just as much as rust. Spray-ons are great for surface protection, but they don't do much for impact. For a working Titan, I've had the best luck with the DualLiner Bed Liner System for Nissan Titan 5.5ft Bed. It's basically the best of both worlds because you get the hard plastic sidewalls that wont mess with your Nissan Utili-track Channel System or the LEDs, but the bottom is a thick rubber mat. That mat is a lifesaver for heavy equipment cuz it absorbs the shock that usually dents the actual bed floor. Plus, it's way cheaper than a pro spray job, usually under $450. Just make sure you clean under the mat once a year to keep it pristine. It's a solid, conservative play that'll save your resale value later on lol. Good luck with the new truck!

For your situation, I'd highkey recommend the Line-X Premium Spray-On Bedliner. I've been hauling gravel and heavy steel scrap in my Titan for years and it's literally indestructible. It costs more than a drop-in, maybe $600ish depending on the shop, but it PROTECTS against rust way better cuz it seals the metal. Plus, it won't mess with your Utili-track rails or LED lights at all since they just mask them off before spraying!

Honestly, if youre gonna be throwing metal equipment back there, I gotta be the cautious one and say you need to worry about dents as much as rust. Sooo, I actually ended up going with the WeatherTech TechLiner Bed Liner for my Titan and I'm reallyyy satisfied with it. It's basically a thick, custom-fit rubber-like tray that sits over the paint.

Here is why I like it for heavy work:
* It doesn't block the Nissan Utili-track Channel System at all.
* It provides way more impact cushioning than a spray-on.
* You can literally just hose it out after hauling gravel.

But yeah, I'm a bit of a beginner with mods, so I was worried about the install, but it was super easy. Just make sure the bed is clean first! Good luck!!

Seconding the recommendation above about the dents! Spray-ons are cool for rust, but thin for heavy stuff. Since you're a DIY enthusiast, honestly consider the BedRug Classic Bed Liner BRN04CK for the floor. It's basically indestructible carpet that cushions heavy impacts and won't mess with the Utili-track. I'm still kinda new to truck mods, but I've seen guys also throw a Dee Zee Heavy Duty Rubber Truck Bed Mat DZ86972 over their spray-on. It's super thick and keeps stuff from sliding around for like $150. Good luck!! 👍
