I’m finally getting my Ram 1500 REV soon and couldn't be more hyped! Since this is my first electric truck, I’m trying to figure out which exterior mods are actually worth it. I do a lot of highway driving, so I’m specifically looking for a tonneau cover that helps with aerodynamics without blocking frunk access. I’m also considering some heavy-duty mud flaps to protect the paint from gravel. Has anyone looked into specific brands that fit the REV’s unique body lines or charging port placement? I want to make sure I don't compromise range while adding utility. What are your top three 'must-have' exterior accessories for this beast?

This^ Also wanted to add that you dont need to break the bank for aero. Over the years, I've found the Tyger Auto T3 Soft Tri-Fold Truck Bed Cover is a great value. It gives the same range boost as the $1k models for like $220. For flaps, honestly, Plasticolor Universal Mud Guards are way cheaper and fit the REV's lines easily. gl!!

yo, i'm also super stoked for the REV!! honestly, i've been doing a deep dive into the aero stuff cuz range is basically everything on the highway, right? since the REV has those specific body lines near the charge port, you gotta be careful with fitment. anyway... here is what i recommend:

1. **Tonneau Covers:** RetraxPRO XR Retractable Truck Bed Cover vs TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll-up Truck Bed Cover. The Retrax is heavy-duty but adds weight. The TruXedo is way lighter and sits *super* low for better airflow, which helps highway range. ngl, i'd go TruXedo for the efficiency.
2. **Mud Flaps:** WeatherTech No-Drill Mud Flaps for Ram 1500 vs Husky Liners Custom Molded Mud Guards. WeatherTech is usually the best for custom fitment without actually drilling into your new wheel wells, which is huge.
3. **Slick Finish:** Chemical Guys Carbon Flex C9 Protective Coating. Making the truck "slippery" with a ceramic coating actually helps slightly with air resistance and makes cleaning off highway bugs way easier... i mean, every bit counts, right??

gl with the beast! 👍

yo, congrats on the REV!! honestly, i'm still learning the ropes too, but i've been looking into this *exact* stuff to save money on range.

sooo... here's what i recommend:
- BAKFlip MX4 Hard Folding Truck Bed Cover - it sits flat for better airflow and iirc it wont block frunk access.
- WeatherTech No-Drill Mud Flaps - super cheap way to protect that paint from gravel.
- XPEL Ultimate Plus Paint Protection Film - you definately want this for the front cuz highway debris is realy annoying.

tbh i'm still worried about the charging port clearance with some wider gear, so i'd stick to the basics first. gl with the new beast! peace
