Which bed covers are best for the Ram 1500 Ramcharger?

I’ve finally got a Ram 1500 Ramcharger on order and I’m starting to look at accessories. I really need a solid bed cover to protect my gear, but I’m curious if there are specific fitment issues since it's the new hybrid setup. I’m looking for something durable, maybe a hard folding or retractable cover that doesn't block the rear-view camera when it's open. Also, does anyone know if certain covers are better for aerodynamics to help preserve that electric range? I'm mainly using it for weekend camping trips and grocery runs. What specific brands or models are you guys finding work best for the Ramcharger's bed layout and onboard power access?

In my experience, you gotta watch the camera clearance.

• BAK Industries BAKFlip MX4 Hard Folding Truck Bed Cover: Solid aero, but it blocks the camera when flipped up... kinda annoying.
• RetraxPRO XR Retractable Truck Bed Cover: My pick cuz it stays flush and the T-slot rails are sooo good for camping racks.

Basically, retractable is way better for range and tech on the Ramcharger. gl!

I would suggest these:
• Tyger Auto T3 Soft Tri-Fold Truck Bed Cover - amazing price/aero!
• Gator EFX Hard Tri-Fold Truck Bed Cover - secure/low-pro.
Neither blocks the cam lol. Which fits ur budget?

I totally agree that the Rambox vs. standard bed choice is the most critical technical detail here. One tiny thing to add: you also need to check the clearance for the high-voltage wiring paths if you’re drilling for drain tubes. If you're doing market research, I'd highly recommend checking out the *Mopar* technical service bulletins or the fitment tools on *eTrailer* specifically for the 2025 DT frame. From an expert perspective, you really have to compare the *structural rigidity* and the actual drag coefficient ($C_d$) impact. Most brands claim "aero gains," but without seeing their CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) data, it’s basically just marketing, right? Focus on covers with high-grade EPDM seals to protect the inverter system from moisture ingress. It’s better to be cautious with the hybrid electronics than to save a few bucks on a cover that leaks, tbh.

Before I give advice, can you clarify if you're getting the Rambox system or the standard bed? The mounting specs for the power access are totally different. I've been running a low-profile setup on my current rig to minimize drag, and honestly, the aero gains are real—I saw a decent range boost. i think it helps with the vortex at the tailgate, too. gl!
