Which interior shelving units are best for a Ram ProMaster camper conversion?

I’ve finally started framing out my high-roof Ram ProMaster, but I’m really struggling to decide on the best shelving setup. I love that the ProMaster has those nearly vertical walls, which should make mounting easier, but I’m worried about adding too much weight or ending up with constant rattles while driving. I’m debating between using pre-fab modular metal units like Weather Guard or just building custom lightweight plywood cabinets to save on costs. My budget is around $1,500 for the whole storage system. Are there specific shelving brands that fit the ProMaster’s interior dimensions perfectly, or is a custom DIY build always the better route for maximizing every inch of space?

In my experience, I’d suggest going custom. I’m actually super happy with my plywood build cuz it’s silent and way cheaper. - **Pro Metal:** Weather Guard 600-8111R ProMaster Shelving Package is sturdy but $1,200+.

i would suggest going the custom route, but be careful cuz plywood builds get heavy fast! basically, weight and rattles are the biggest technical hurdles with van storage. i think you should look into aluminum extrusions—they're lightweight and silent if you use nylon washers. it's the best way to maximize those vertical walls without the noise of steel units tbh. gl!
