So I finally got my R1S Tri-Motor last week and honestly I am so frustrated with the mats that came with it. I spent way too much on this truck to have the floors looking like a muddy mess after just one school run in the Seattle rain and the factory ones just dont stay in place they keep sliding around near the pedals which is actually kinda scary.
Im freaking out because we have a huge camping trip planned for next Friday and I need something that actually fits the Tri-Motor floor plan and can handle three kids and a golden retriever. My budget is around 350 bucks but I need them shipped fast. Does anyone actually have good luck with a specific brand that doesnt feel like cheap plastic...

Checked out some data on this earlier. You really gotta watch out for the sliding near the pedals... thats a major safety hazard imo. I remember a trip out to the coast where my old mats bunched up behind the brake and it was genuinely terrifying. I would suggest looking into the 3D MAXpider KAGU Floor Mat Set for Rivian R1S. They use this specific multi-layer design with a bottom layer called MAXpider that basically hooks into the carpet so they wont move at all. Its way better than the factory clips. Just be careful to verify the 2024 fitment since the Tri-Motor might have slight floor pan variations near the seat rails. They usually run about 280 bucks. If you need them fast, shipping on those is usually solid... just make sure the seller is legit so you dont get a knockoff that smells like heavy chemicals.
I totally get the frustration with those factory mats, they are way too thin for the price of the R1S. I went through the same thing last winter when I took my Tri-Motor up to the mountains. My kids basically dragged the entire slushy parking lot into the cabin and the factory rubber just let it all spill over. I switched to the 3D MAXpider set and honestly been super satisfied with the technical design. They use a three-layer structure that actually helps with road noise which was a nice surprise.
Can confirm this works. Did the same thing on mine and its been solid ever since.
Gonna try this over the weekend. Will report back if it works!
