Hey everyone! I just took delivery of my R1S Dual-Motor and I’m itching to get it out into the wild for some dispersed camping. Since this is my first EV, I’m trying to figure out the best setup to maximize that flat-folding rear space without murdering my range. I’m specifically looking for a mattress that actually fits the R1S floor dimensions perfectly and wondering if anyone has found a 12V fridge that fits well in the frunk or the rear cargo well. I really want to take full advantage of Camp Mode, but I'm worried about clutter. What are your absolute 'must-have' organizers or gear pieces that make the R1S the perfect basecamp?

Over the years, I've found the Exped MegaMat Auto is the gold standard for that flat-folding floor cuz it fits the R1S dimensions perfectly tbh. * Fridge: Dometic CFX3 35 Powered Cooler fits the rear well like a glove.
* Storage: Rivian R1S Cargo Well Organizer basically kills the clutter. Keep it simple and you'll love Camp Mode! How long's the first trip? gl!

So, quick question - how many people are you actually fitting in there? It lowkey changes things, well actually, it totally changes your safety profile. I once had a loose cooler slide forward during a sudden stop... super sketchy. 1. Luno Life R1S Air Mattress (~$250) fits great.
2. SetPower AJ30 32 Quart Portable Fridge is a solid budget-friendly pick. Lesson: Secure your gear! Let me know the headcount first.

yo, congrats on the R1S! ngl the dual-motor is sweet but gear weight adds up fast... Before I dive into tech specs, I'm curious about ur approach: 1. **Range Focus vs. Luxury**: Are u trying to stay light for max range, or looking for a 'glamping' vibe?? 2. **Solo vs. Duo**: Is it just u or a partner? Knowing this basically helps me compare different power-draw setups for Camp Mode tbh.

Congrats on the delivery! Honestly, if youre going dispersed, you gotta prioritize gear that wont fail when youre miles from a paved road. Reliability is way more important than fancy gadgets imo. For sleeping, check out the DeepSleep for Rivian R1S Mattress. Its custom-contoured for the R1S and the material is way tougher than your average air bed. I also recommend the ICECO GO20 Dual Zone Portable Fridge for the frunk. Keeping the fridge in the frunk is a pro move because it keeps your sleeping area quiet and keeps food smells away from your bed... super important if you're in bear country. Since you're worried about clutter, grab some Front Runner Wolf Pack Pro boxes. They stack perfectly and are actually water and dust proof. Also, dont forget a set of MAXTRAX MKII Recovery Boards if youre hitting soft sand or mud. Camp Mode is great, but it drains about 1 to 3 percent a night depending on the temp, so always make sure you have a solid battery buffer before you park up. Safety first!
