Are there any Tesla Cyberbeast reservation slots currently for sale?

I'm really stressing out because I missed the boat on the original ordering thing and now I'm seeing people talk about slots but I don't even know if that's a real thing or if it's against the rules? I'm totally new to the whole Tesla world and honestly the website is just confusing me even more. I really need to get my hands on the Cyberbeast version, not the regular one, because I'm planning this big trip across the desert in like three months and I want to be ready. I keep hearing about people selling their spots in line but like, how does that even work? Is it just a scam or can I actually pay someone to take over their place? I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question I just don't want to get banned by Tesla before I even get a car.

Here is what I am working with:

  • Budget: I have about $130,000 saved up for this specifically
  • Location: I'm in Austin so I'm literally right down the street from where they make them
  • Use case: Heavy towing for my small landscaping business and some weekend camping stuff
  • Timeline: I really need it by the end of July or I'm gonna have to rent a truck

Is there a specific place people go to buy these or is it all just on like eBay? I'm worried about getting ripped off or something...

Unfortunately, getting a Cyberbeast by July is impossible through official channels, and those third-party slots are almost always flagged then canceled. The towing efficiency on that trim is honestly quite disappointing for the cost. You'd be much better off with a Ford F-150 Lightning Platinum Extended Range. It is well under your 130k budget, handles landscaping work easily, and you wont have to deal with reservation scams.

Buying a reservation is basically a scam. Tesla terms strictly prohibit transfers and theyll cancel your order immediately. Unfortunately, the Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast Tri-Motor AWD is massively backlogged and the real-world towing efficiency is lower than expected. For a July deadline, you should look at the Rivian R1T Performance Dual-Motor Max Pack. It has a 410-mile range and better build quality for landscaping work.

My buddy told me the exact same thing last week. Guess he was right lol.
