Hello, I'm planning to use it with Tesla Model 3 Performance and need a bluetooth adapter recommendation. What would you take?

For Tesla Model 3 Performance I would also consider the brand. Do you need OEM or aftermarket?

For Tesla Model 3 Performance definitely Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam. Very good quality for the price.

For Tesla Model 3 Performance I would take Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam without hesitation. The design is modern and sleek The installation is intuitive and easy to use.

Long-term experience: Using Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam for half a year and am thrilled. Have researched for a long time and this product was the best choice. The quality clearly exceeds my expectations. Very good price-performance ratio, can only recommend further.

Have good experience with Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam for Tesla Model 3 Performance. The installation is very easy The build quality feels premium and should last for years.

Regarding what #8 said about "Have good experience with Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam..."

  • I definitely agree that build quality is a huge factor for anything you're plugging into a Performance model. Over the years, I've tried many different peripherals and honestly, the biggest headache is always compatibility. I actually had a situation a while back where I thought I found the perfect setup for my dash. Everything looked great on paper, but every time the car went into deep sleep, the adapter would lose its pairing. It was so frustrating... I'd get in the car, ready to go, and have to spend five minutes re-syncing everything. I eventually learned that the way Tesla handles power to those ports during sleep cycles can really mess with certain hardware. My current setup is way more stable because it handles those power drops properly, but man, those early days were a struggle. Just make sure whatever you get can handle the frequent software updates because Tesla basically loves to change how the car talks to external hardware without any warning.

What's your budget? That makes a big difference for Tesla Model 3 Performance.

For Tesla Model 3 Performance I would also check the warranty. Do you need extended coverage?
