honestly fed up with these insane reseller markups and the wait times are just stupid. i need a truck for my ranch in texas before next month but i refuse to pay 150k for a 100k car. is anyone actually seeing a used cyberbeast listed under retail anywhere yet? i cant find one anywhere...

Honestly no, you wont find a Beast under retail yet. I needed a reliable work truck for my property and ended up very happy with my Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.7L Diesel. It works well and I have no complaints about the reliability or price. 1. Skip the EV hype for ranch deadlines.

  • Buy a proven heavy-duty truck that actually fits your budget today.

ngl you're probably not gonna find a cyberbeast under retail for a while yet. the market is still pretty wild because of that foundation series pricing and everyone trying to make a quick buck despite the resale rules. here is why the prices are staying so high:

  • production volume is still way too low for the demand
  • the Tesla Cybertruck Cyberbeast Tri-Motor AWD is mostly being delivered with a forced 20k foundation markup
  • anyone flipping them adds even more to cover the risk of getting blacklisted by tesla if you're actually using this for ranch work in texas, i'd honestly be a bit cautious about jumping into a used one right now. i've seen the data on these platforms and the repair cycle for that stainless steel and the steer-by-wire system is kind of a mess. if you clip a gate or have a sensor failure out in the middle of nowhere, you're looking at months of downtime because parts just don't exist in the secondary market yet. it's a cool truck, but for a working vehicle with a deadline, the reliability isn't quite there for a buy it used scenario. you might be better off looking at a Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat Extended Range or a Rivian R1T Dual-Motor Max Pack if you need something by next month. those are actually sitting on lots and you can find them for decent prices without the headache of a flipping contract or missing spare parts. maybe wait a year for the hype to die down before grabbing the tesla.

To add to the point above: finding that deal is basically a myth right now! I went through the same headache for my land. The tech in these alternatives is actually amazing tho:
