Where can I find a Tesla Model Y Juniper for sale near me right now or at least find a place to pre-order it without getting scammed? Im in the South Bay area and honestly my anxiety is through the roof because my current daily driver a 2012 Civic is literally on its last legs... the transmission is making this weird grinding noise and the mechanic told me its gonna cost more to fix than the cars even worth so I need to make a move like within the next two weeks max. I have been obsessively refreshing the Tesla inventory pages but everything looks like the old design and I really dont want to buy a brand new car and have it look outdated in three months.

Im currently torn between a few paths and I keep switching my mind every hour:

  • Just biting the bullet and getting one of the 2024 inventory models they have at the Stevens Creek location because the prices are so low right now especially with that 1.99 percent financing deal they keep pushing but I know I'll be jealous of the new interior as soon as it drops.
  • Holding out for the Juniper refresh because I really need those ventilated seats for the summers here and I heard the suspension is way smoother like on the new Model 3 but I cant find a solid date for the US release and I might be car-less if the Civic dies first.
  • Maybe looking at a used 2022 or 2023 model to save cash while I wait for Juniper to actually ship next year but used car interest rates are so high right now it almost doesnt make sense financially compared to the new ones.

My budget is pretty strict at around 50k after taxes and fees and if the Juniper is gonna be way more expensive then I should probably just get the current one but I just dont know what to do. If anyone has seen a Juniper unit at a local showroom or knows a sales advisor who actually knows whats going on please let me know. The guy I talked to at the mall was totally useless and just tried to sell me a Performance model which is way out of my price range and definitely not what I need for a daily commute...

Honestly, Juniper isnt hitting showrooms until 2025. My neighbor in Sunnyvale tried holding out for a refresh and ended up renting a car for weeks when his transmission died.

  • Tesla Model Y Long Range AWD: Current 1.99 percent financing is a steal right now.
  • Waiting for Juniper: Better suspension but no car for months. If the Civic is grinding, just grab the inventory at Stevens Creek now.
