For Tesla Model 3 Performance I would take Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam without hesitation. The reliability is very good The installation is intuitive and easy to use.

Long-term experience: Using Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam for almost a year and am thrilled. Have researched for a long time and this product was the best choice. The quality clearly exceeds my expectations. Very good price-performance ratio, can only recommend further.

Yeah honestly I have a slightly different take on this. Everyone is recommending dash cams but since the car already has Sentry Mode built in, I felt like other things were more of a priority when I first got mine last month. I am still kinda new to this whole Tesla world but I found these way more useful for everyday driving:

  • Basenor Center Console Organizer Trays
  • These are like totally essential because the deep bins are basically just a giant mess without them. It makes finding my sunglasses sooo much easier.
  • Topfit Mud Flaps
  • Especially with the Performance trim, the tires kick up so much road grit and I was reallyyy scared of chipping the paint on the side panels. These were super easy to install.
  • Reverse Logic Jack Pad Adapter
  • I read that you basically need these for any tire shop to lift the car safely without hurting the battery. Better safe than sorry right? I am not a pro yet but these felt like the best first steps for me personally. Maybe hold off on the extra cameras until you see if you really need them? Tbh the built in ones are pretty okay for a start.

For Tesla Model 3 Performance I would definitely pay attention to the compatibility, especially if it's about electronics.

My buddy told me the exact same thing last week. Guess he was right lol.

I'm still a bit of a newbie here, but I definitely agree that compatibility is the #1 thing to watch out for. I spent *hours* reading what everyone else bought because I don't want to mess up a brand new car, you know? Based on the community reviews I've been digging through, here are two things I'm looking at that aren't dash cams: * Tesmanian All-Weather Floor Mats - A lot of people say these are way better than the stock ones because they have higher edges to catch dirt (huge for keeping it clean), but a few users mentioned they can feel a bit stiff compared to heavy rubber.
* Spigen Matte Screen Protector - This seems to be the favorite for reducing glare, which is a big safety thing for me tbh. The only downside is some say it makes the screen look slightly "fuzzy" compared to the clear glass. I'm honestly still nervous about installing anything myself... basically just want to make sure I don't break anything. Has anyone found these easy to get right the first time?
