For Tesla Model X, Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 is an excellent choice. The clarity is very high The installation is intuitive and easy to use.

Additionally, you should note: The latest generation offers significantly better quality and performance than previous models. Especially ideal for daily driving and long trips. Compatibility with Tesla Model X is very good, and the installation is also straightforward.

> Looking for the optimal dash cam for Tesla Model X. tbh I am gonna have to disagree with the suggestions for the big brands like Garmin or BlackVue. Those are fine and all, but after spending way too much time reading community reviews, a lot of long-time owners are switching to the Viofo A139 Pro. Basically, it uses that new Sony Starvis 2 sensor which is suppose to be way better for reading license plates at night. I am not 100% sure on the exact tech specs but the clarity in the footage I have seen on the forums looks sharper than the ones mentioned above. A few things to consider if your looking at this one:

  • Better low light performance than most older 4K cams
  • The price is usually around $280 for the dual channel setup
  • Its got a thinner cable which makes hiding it in the trim way easier Its maybe a bit more techy to set up but the video quality is just better for the money. Just my two cents if you want something that actually catches plates when there moving fast.

Saw this earlier while I was waiting for my car to finish charging. Honestly, I went with a super cheap setup i found online and ive been really happy with it so far. No complaints at all, it just works well and didnt break the bank. Hopefully you find something that fits your budget! Let me know if you need more info on the setup tho. The whole thing actually reminds me of when i first got my car and was obsessed with keeping the white seats perfect. I bought like five different cleaners and spent every Saturday scrubbing them down... then my nephew spilled a whole juice box in the back during a road trip to the mountains. We were halfway to the lake and i just had to sit there and accept the fate of my interior haha. We had a blast at the cabin though. anyway lol sorry kinda went off topic there.
