Interesting question! For Tesla Model S it also depends on your driving style. What's your main concern?

Using Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam for a couple of months for Tesla Model S and can only recommend it. The fit is perfect The quality out of the box is very good.

I can warmly recommend BlackVue DR900X Plus for Tesla Model S. The quality is excellent The premium build provides excellent durability and protection.

My personal experience: I've tested various products, and BlackVue DR900X Plus was superior in all tests. The quality remains excellent even after months of use, which is important for long-term reliability. Very good future-proofing through modern design and reliable performance.

For Tesla Model S I would definitely pay attention to the compatibility, especially if it's about electronics.

Like someone mentioned, you really gotta be careful with compatibility because Teslas are super picky about their power draw. Honestly, I saw everyone talking about dash cams and got confused for a sec but sticking to the headlights thing... I had such a blast upgrading mine! I went with the AlphaRex LUXX-Series LED Projector Headlights and man, the difference is just night and day. Literally. I remember pulling out of my driveway for the first time and actually being able to see the deer in the woods. So cool! They look way more aggressive than the stock ones too. If youre looking for something else, Morimoto XB LED Headlights are also fantastic but a bit more expensive tho. Just dont buy the cheap stuff from random sites or youll get flickering issues and error codes on your screen. Not worth the headache imo. TL;DR: Grab AlphaRex or Morimoto units. They are designed for the Model S electronics so they wont mess with your car and the light output is amazing.

Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam is definitely the best choice for Tesla Model S. The material is premium and comfortable The product includes all features you need.

Why this product? The quality convinces in all tests - both for performance and for durability. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already used it for several months, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding driving conditions.

Agreed on the AlphaRex being top tier but the price tag is honestly a lot to swallow for some. If youre looking to save some cash, I found that just doing a bulb swap works well enough for most use cases. I used Lasfit D3S LED Bulbs 50W 6000K in my pre-refresh Model S and the technical specs are actually pretty solid. The lux output is a massive improvement over the stock HIDs and provides a much cleaner cutoff line. The power draw is compatible with the factory ballast so you dont get errors on the dash which is a huge plus. Its a decent option if you want better visibility without spending two grand on new housings. Just gotta be careful with the fitment since the heat sinks are a bit bulky behind the projector... definitely check your clearances first. Tbh its probably the most budget-friendly way to modernise the front end while keeping the OEM look.

Do you already have a preference? That could influence the choice.
