Best trunk mats for protecting a Toyota Avalon?

I recently picked up a Toyota Avalon and I’m loving the smooth ride, but I’m really worried about ruining that pristine trunk carpet. I find myself hauling groceries, damp umbrellas, and the occasional garden supply, so I definitely need something more durable than the stock mat. I’ve been looking at WeatherTech and Husky Liners, but I’m curious if they actually fit the Avalon’s specific trunk contours perfectly or if they leave gaps around the edges. I'd prefer something with a raised lip to catch spills, but it needs to stay in place without sliding around. Does anyone have a specific brand they swear by for long-term protection? What are you all using to keep your trunk looking new?

Just sharing my experience: I went through this last year and ended up skipping the big names cuz they felt a bit pricey for basically a piece of molded plastic, right? I found that Mixsuper Cargo Liner for Toyota Avalon actually hits that sweet spot for cost and specs. It has that 2-inch raised lip to handle my wet gear and the fitment data was spot on for the trunk floor dimensions. Basically, it stays put without sliding, which was my biggest technical worry. Honestly, it's super easy to hose off after hauling garden mulch and I'm pretty satisfied with the durability so far!

For your situation, I would suggest looking at MAXpider KAGU Series Cargo Liner for Toyota Avalon. I've been through a few cars and different brands, and technically, the heavy rubber ones can actually warp over years of heat exposure. The MAXpider stuff uses a weirdly cool layered material that's lighter but still has that raised lip for spills. Plus, it has this "Maxpider" backing that literally grips the carpet so it wont slide an inch. Def worth a look if u want something sleeker than the industrial vibe of others!!

I was sooo worried about the fit too! Honestly, I went with WeatherTech Cargo Liner for Toyota Avalon and it fits like a glove. The lip is great for spills, tho it's kinda slippery, so maybe be careful if ur hauling stuff that slides around easily! Husky Liners WeatherBeater Trunk Liner is another solid, cheaper option, but idk if the edges are as stiff.

Honestly, I've had a bit of a disappointing run with some of those popular brands lately. My main concern is always safety and reliability—I once had a generic mat curl up and actually block the trunk latch, which was a total nightmare. For your Avalon, I highkey recommend looking into the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Cargo Liner for Toyota Avalon.

I’m a bit of a stickler for fitment because gaps are just asking for trouble if a grocery bag leaks. These have a patented backing that's basically like Velcro but doesn't ruin the carpet, so it won't slide around and interfere with anything. Plus, the raised lip is solid enough to contain spills without being so stiff that it warps in the sun. I've found that cheaper, heavier rubber ones tend to off-gas and smell weird when the car sits in the heat, which is another safety thing for me. Anyway, hope that helps you keep things pristine!
