What is the best cargo liner for Toyota EV trunks?

I recently picked up a bZ4X and I’m loving the drive, but I’m worried about ruining the interior. I frequently haul muddy hiking gear and groceries that tend to leak, so a high-quality cargo liner is a must. I’ve looked at the OEM Toyota options, but I’m curious if brands like WeatherTech or Husky Liners offer a better fit for the specific dimensions of a Toyota EV trunk. Since there's no spare tire, I want something that doesn't interfere with accessing the lower storage compartment. Does anyone have experience with a liner that stays in place and is easy to hose off? What brand provides the best lip-to-edge protection for this model?

Seconding the recommendation above! Adding my two cents, but basically, you gotta be *super* careful with safety. I've seen cheap liners slide around and literally jam the trunk latch, which is a total nightmare. Honestly, I highkey love the 3D MAXpider KAGU Series Cargo Liner for Toyota bZ4X because the MAXpider backing is amazing and actually stays put! It's fantastic for safety-first drivers like me cuz it wont budge or interfere with that sub-floor access. Plus, its super easy to hose off! 👍

I went through this last year! Honestly, I was sooo worried about the same thing cuz I'm constantly diving into that sub-floor for my charging cables. I ended up trying a budget-friendly Smartliner Custom Fit Cargo Liner for Toyota bZ4X and it's actually amazing! It’s super flexible so I can just peel it back to grab my gear without the whole thing sliding around. Plus, it was way cheaper than the OEM stuff. GL!

Sooo, I've been driving Toyotas for like 20 years now, and honestly, the cargo area protection is always my first upgrade. For your bZ4X, I would suggest looking at a few specific options cuz the floor layout is kinda unique without that spare tire.

WeatherTech CargoLiner for Toyota bZ4X - This is basically the industry standard. It's got that high lip-to-edge protection you want for leaking groceries. It's super stiff tho, so accessing the lower storage can be a bit of a pain since it doesnt bend easily.

Husky Liners WeatherBeater Cargo Liner for Toyota bZ4X - In my experience, these are actually a bit better for EV trunks. The material is slightly more rubberized and flexible than WeatherTech, so it stays in place better and you can actually peel it back to get to your charging cables underneath without the whole thing popping out of place.

I've used both over the years, and for the bZ4X, the Husky is lowkey the winner if you need frequent access to that sub-floor. Just my 2 cents! gl! 👍
