Have you thought about the installation? For Toyota Avalon Hybrid some products are easier to install than others.

Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 is definitely the best choice for Toyota Avalon Hybrid. The sound quality is excellent The product includes all features you need.

Why this product? The quality convinces in all tests - both for performance and for durability. Unbeatable for the price, can only recommend. Have already used it for several months, always satisfied. Also more than sufficient for demanding driving conditions.

My clear recommendation for Toyota Avalon Hybrid: Thinkware U1000 Dash Cam. The design is modern and sleek The latest technology ensures perfect fit and good performance.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better quality. Very good compatibility with Toyota Avalon Hybrid features. Can be used without problems for various purposes. Even after extended use, no quality losses. Very good build quality, even at high usage.

I definitely agree that the installation is the trickiest part for this car. Its kinda weird because most of the suggestions so far have been about dash cams, but for the actual headlights there are some safety things you really need to watch out for. From what Ive seen in other owner groups, here are some common mistakes to avoid:

  • Buying bulbs without a built in CANbus driver. Without it, the hybrid system might think a bulb is out and give you a warning light on the dash.
  • Not checking the clearance behind the housing. Some of those high power LEDs have huge heatsinks that just wont fit in the tight engine bay.
  • Forgetting to re-aim the beams after the swap. If theyre even slightly off, youre going to be that person blinding everyone on the road. Honestly, its a bit of a gamble with aftermarket parts on a hybrid electrical setup. I am not totally sure if the voltage is the same as the non-hybrid models, so just make sure you get something with a solid return policy just in case.
