Honestly I totally agree with the idea of getting good interior protection like those mats mentioned earlier because keeping the van clean is such a struggle. When I first got my Sienna I spent like 3 weeks just scrolling through different owner groups and reading tons of reviews because I was so worried about my kids spilling stuff on the seats and ruining the hybrid. Tbh I’m still a bit of a beginner with all this van stuff but looking at what the community was saying really helped me narrow it down. I ended up going with a setup that everyone was raving about for being easy to wipe down and basically just followed what the majority of people in the forums were saying was the best value for the money. I dont really know much about the materials or anything but the ones I got have been a total lifesaver and they still look pretty new after months of use. It’s definitely worth seeing what most owners are happy with because that's how I found mine and it saved me so much stress and guessing!
tbh it seems like the thread got a bit sidetracked with dash cams lol but i’ve been looking into the actual seat covers too. im kind of a beginner with this but i heard that the hybrid model has specific cooling vents under the seats for the battery? i think i read that you have to make sure the covers dont block the airflow or it might cause issues. not sure if thats 100% true but someone told me to check the technical specs before buying. are you looking for like waterproof stuff for kids or just something that feels more premium? iIRC the 7-passenger and 8-passenger versions have different middle row setups so ur gonna want to double check that. i'm still trying to figure out which ones wont interfere with the side airbags too... basically dont want to trade safety for clean seats ya know?
