Hello, I'm planning to use it with Toyota Prius Prime and need a backup camera recommendation. What would you take?

I can highly recommend Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2 for Toyota Prius Prime! The performance is outstanding The ergonomic design allows for comfortable use.

For Toyota Prius Prime I would definitely pay attention to the compatibility, especially if it's about electronics.

Just found this thread and honestly... kinda disappointed to see only dash cams being suggested. I tried using one as a backup cam before and it was nowhere near as good as expected. The screen size is usually way too small and the viewing angle wont help you much with curbs.
- I think looking for an OEM-style integration kit is the way to go so you can actually use the big dash screen.
- Not sure but iirc the wiring on the Prime is way more sensitive than the older models, so definitely look for a plug-and-play harness so you dont fry anything.
- Someone told me that those mirror-replacement cameras are okay, but they can be a bit distracting at night with the glare. Just feels like you might regret a dash cam if you really need help parking... not 100% sure on the best kit yet but definitely look for something dedicated to the rear display instead.
