Tbh looking at the charging options for the Venza really reminds me of when my brother-in-law got his first one a few years back. He was absolutely obsessed with the compatibility of the sockets and whether the draw would mess with the hybrid battery system. I remember we were halfway to a cabin trip and he basically staged an intervention because he thought my old adapter was gonna fry his dash. We spent like an hour at a random gas station in the middle of nowhere just comparing the depth of the port to different plugs he had in his glovebox. It turned into a whole ordeal where he wouldnt even let me plug in my gps... we ended up getting lost for two hours because he was so worried about the amperage and the fitment. Such a classic move for him, honestly, but man it was frustrating at the time.
