Interesting question! For Toyota Highlander it also depends on your driving style. What's your main concern?

For Toyota Highlander I would take Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam without hesitation. The material is premium and comfortable The high quality makes everything feel premium and reliable.

Long-term experience: Using Nextbase 622GW Dash Cam for almost a year and am thrilled. Have researched for a long time and this product was the best choice. The quality clearly exceeds my expectations. Very good price-performance ratio, can only recommend further.

Tbh I totally agree with the point about driving style and specific concerns because changing out factory bulbs makes me pretty nervous. Just found this thread and wanted to add a warning about compatibility since it is not just a simple plug and play thing usually. If the LED chip isnt aligned perfectly with the Highlanders projector lens you can end up with weird dark spots or worse, blinding people coming the other way. Plus I have heard that if you dont get ones that are compatible with the cars electrical system you might get flickering or error codes on the dash. Its definitely worth being cautious so you dont fry anything or mess up the seal and get moisture inside the headlight housing... that can be a really expensive fix if it goes wrong.

Spent way too much time and money trying to fix the dim output on my Highlander. Honestly, it was a massive disappointment seeing how most LEDs just dont throw light far enough down the road. I tested a few sets and the results were pretty mediocre compared to what the marketing promised.

  • Sealight Scoparc S2 H11 LED: Cheap but the beam pattern was all over the place.
  • GTR Lighting Ultra 2.0 H11 LED: Super bright but I had flickering issues without a harness.
  • Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0 H11 LED: Best focal point for projectors but the fan noise is annoying. Go look at the Headlight Revolution or BulbFacts sites for actual data. Most brands just lie about lumens... unfortunately you really gotta look at the lux measurements at 20 feet to see if they actually work in our housings. Ngl I almost went back to high-end halogens.
