My clear recommendation for Toyota Mirai: BlackVue DR900X Plus. The durability is impressive The product includes all features you need.

Technical highlights: The latest generation offers significantly better quality. Very good compatibility with Toyota Mirai features. Can be used without problems for various purposes. Even after extended use, no quality losses. Very good build quality, even at high usage.

tbh it seems like the thread got a bit sidetracked with dash cam talk and even tires which is weird lol but I’ll try to recap what’s going on here for you and bring it back to the actual lights. - Basically, most of the suggestions so far have been for things like Garmin or BlackVue units but those are definitely not headlights, so the community consensus is kinda all over the place right now.
- I think some people are confusing general 'best upgrades' with 'best lighting' because half the thread is talking about dash cams iirc.
- Honestly, I’m not 100% sure there even is a massive 'upgrade' for the Mirai because the factory LEDs are already pretty specialized and integrated into the housing compared to a standard Corolla or Camry. I’ve heard from some other owners that swapping stuff out can be risky because of how the cooling is handled in these cars so you reallyyy want to be cautious there. If you’re not seeing well at night, maybe double check the alignment first because messing with the factory setup might cause more glare for other drivers than actual light on the road for you, ngl I'd be worried about voiding any warranties too!

^ This. Also, glad someone brought it back to the lights lol. I had a nightmare experience a few years ago trying to save twenty bucks on some cheap LEDs for my old car and they flickered so bad they actually tripped a sensor. With the Mirai being so high-tech, you really gotta be careful about the cooling fans and electrical noise messing with the computer. I would suggest sticking to name brands that wont fry your harness:

  • Philips X-tremeUltinon LED gen2
  • Morimoto 2Stroke 3.0 LED Bulbs Make sure to check the seals when you install em. I always tell people to check for radio interference right away too... things can get expensive fast if you mess up the electronics on a fuel cell car. Better to spend a bit more upfront for peace of mind imo.
