I've been using it for a while now and I'm really happy with it. One thing to watch for with the Mirai is the giant sensor cluster on the windshield. It can block the detector if you aren't careful. I used a MirrorTap MT-4015 Power Cord to tap into the mirror's power and it makes the whole setup look way more factory. No messy wires and it works well with the car's tech. Just my two cents... it is a bit cheaper than the Escort but way more sensitive than the basic models and wont break the bank.
