I just took delivery of my new Volvo EX30 and I’m absolutely loving the minimalist aesthetic, but I’ve quickly realized I need a few things to make the cabin more functional for daily use. Since the storage is a bit unique with that central slide-out console and the lack of a traditional glove box, I’m looking for clever organizers to keep things tidy. I’m also considering some heavy-duty floor mats and a screen protector for the main display to prevent fingerprints. Has anyone found any high-quality aftermarket bits that fit the EX30’s specific dimensions well? What specific interior accessories have you added that you now can’t live without?

yo, congrats on the new ride! I've been geeking out on the interior specs and honestly, you gotta upgrade a few things. Here's what I recommend: 1. Volvo EX30 All-weather Floor Mats vs TuxMat Volvo EX30 Floor Mats: Volvo's are fine but TuxMat has way better vertical coverage for that recycled floor fabric. 2. Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Volvo EX30: Way better than generic PET films. It's got 9H glass and fits the 12.3-inch display perfectly. gl!

Ok so, since the EX30 is so minimalist, you gotta get creative with the storage issue! 1. Try a Lusso Gear Car Seat Back Organizer for like $20 to basically replace that missing glove box.
2. Also, Amazon Basics All-Weather Rubber Floor Mats are a total steal and work great if ur on a budget!!

sooo, just sharing my experience: I went through this same "storage crisis" last month lol. Basically, Volvo's minimalist design is amazing but kinda forces you to be a Tetris master with your stuff. I realized the central slide-out drawer is the most vulnerable spot for rattles cuz it's just hard plastic inside. I actually spent some time looking into the technical side of the screen glare too. While the Spigen mentioned earlier is a classic, I found that a matte finish is highkey better for visibility in direct sun since the screen is angled. Here's what I ended up getting: - YEE PIN Volvo EX30 Center Console Organizer Tray - This literally saved my sanity. It splits that deep bin into two levels so my keys don't get buried.
- RUIYA Volvo EX30 Matte Screen Protector - I prefer the matte texture over gloss cuz it hides fingerprints way better and cuts that annoying glare. Honestly, the organizer is a total game changer for the "no glovebox" life! gl 👍

In my experience, managing these minimalist interiors is always tougher than it looks. I tried to go the DIY route once with a similar setup because I'm always worried about aftermarket stuff not being built to the same safety standards as the factory gear. I spent a whole weekend trying to fabricate my own dividers out of some heavy-duty industrial foam I had in the workshop. I thought it would be a safe and reliable way to stop my gear from rattling around, but honestly, it turned into such a mess. I ended up with foam bits stuck in the seat rails and spent more time cleaning up the debris than actually enjoying the car. My neighbor still brings it up whenever he sees me working in the garage... just goes to show how even a simple storage project can turn into a massive ordeal if you arent careful.
