I went through this exact process when I got my Q4 because I am always cautious about fitment and safety. You dont want mats sliding around near the accelerator. I ended up very satisfied with a few specific options that I think would work well for your Seattle winters.

  • Audi Q4 e-tron Genuine All-Weather Floor Mats Part Number 89B061221041: These are my primary recommendation. Since they are OEM, they snap directly into the floor anchors. The fit is perfect and they dont have that industrial smell or look that WeatherTech sometimes has. They offer great protection for the footwells without looking out of place in a luxury car.
  • Tuxmat Floor Mats for Audi Q4 e-tron 2022-2024: If you are truly worried about the beige carpet, these offer the most coverage. They have a more fabric-like texture that feels premium. I have heard those reports about the 2024 clips being slightly off, but most people find they still secure tightly enough with a bit of adjustment. They cover almost all the exposed carpet on the sides.
  • Audi Q4 e-tron Genuine Cargo Tray Part Number 89A061180: For the trunk, I stuck with the genuine tray. It handles wet gear and groceries without any issues and fits the dimensions of the hatch perfectly. I think the Audi genuine mats are the safest bet for reliability and a clean look, but Tuxmat is better if you need that wall-to-wall carpet coverage... just depends on how much of that beige you want to hide.

Re: "> i need something that looks premium but..." - honestly, if you want to avoid the industrial look, you gotta look at the technical specs of the material. Most people buy rubber, but TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) is much better for a premium cabin. It doesnt have that greasy sheen or smell. I've been researching the Lasfit All-Weather Floor Mats for Audi Q4 e-tron Custom Fit TPE and the injection molding process they use results in a much cleaner finish than standard thermoformed mats. The precision is high since they use 3D laser scans for the floor pan, so the edges are usually flush within a few millimeters. For the trunk area, maybe look at the Canvasback Audi Q4 e-tron Cargo Liner Custom Fit. It isnt a hard tray, but a textured waterproof fabric that sticks to the carpet. It looks way more integrated into the car than a plastic tub. If you strictly want a tray tho, the Smartliner All Weather Floor Mats for Audi Q4 e-tron is a decent mid-range option. They use a low-density polyethylene that is light but has high wall edges to catch the Seattle rain runoff. It lacks some of the luxury branding but the data on spill capacity is solid. Just make sure you clean the beige carpet thoroughly before installing anything so you dont trap grit underneath.

> i need something that looks premium but actually protects @Reply #2 - good point! Honestly, i have been super satisfied with the 3D MAXpider KAGU All-Weather Floor Mats Audi Q4 e-tron. They look way classier than industrial rubber but the safety is top notch. The backing basically locks into the carpet so they wont ever slide under your pedals. For the trunk, the Lloyd Mats Northridge Trunk Liner works well for keeping Seattle rain off that beige carpet.
