Regarding what #9 said about "Seconded!" - honestly, i think the thread got a bit derailed with all the dash cam talk. If you actually just want a solid car charger that wont break the bank or look ugly in an A5, i've been using the Anker 523 Charger Car 32W and it works well. Its got a really slim profile so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb in the 12v socket. Tbh I'm pretty satisfied with it because it supports fast charging via the usb-c port but still has a standard usb-a for older cables. I've found that cheaper chargers sometimes wiggle loose in the A5's socket, but this one stays put. No complaints about heat either, which is usually where these things fail. Definitely better to spend a few bucks more on a brand like Anker than some generic junk that might fry your phone's battery. Just keep it simple and focus on something low-profile so you can still close the console lid if you need to.
