Looking to upgrade my 2022 Audi A3 with a carbon fiber spoiler but hesitant about pulling the trigger. Has anyone installed one on their A3? I'm particularly interested in:
- Noticeable performance improvements?
- Brand recommendations (currently eyeing Maxton Design)
- Installation difficulty (DIY vs professional)
- Durability in harsh weather
- Whether it's worth the $400-600 price tag
Also curious if it affects warranty and if there are more affordable alternatives that look just as good. Would appreciate any real-world experiences before making the investment!

I installed the ECS Tuning carbon fiber spoiler on my 2019 A3 last summer. Fit was perfect and the quality is excellent - real carbon, not a wrap. It's subtle enough to enhance the look without screaming "aftermarket." Installation took about an hour. At $450 it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for with carbon fiber parts.
