I’m loving my new e-tron GT, but I’m already worried about scuffing up those wide door sills. Does anyone have recommendations for high-quality protectors? I’m looking for something that fits the premium look—maybe carbon fiber or a clear PPF. Has anyone tried the OEM ones, or are there better aftermarket options that actually stay in place?
Warning: stay away from those cheap 'carbon fiber' stickers from Amazon! Seriously, the glue can actually ruin your paint and they look tacky on a car this nice. In my experience, its just not worth the risk. Basically, just get some high-quality clear PPF. It keeps the clean look and it’s way cheaper than fixing scuffs later.
TL;DR: Skip the fake stickers; clear PPF is the best value and looks invisible.

Similar situation here—I went through this last year when I got mine. Honestly, I spent forever looking at options and basically ended up just getting a custom PPF kit for about $150 cuz it felt like the best value for such a pricey car. It's been perfect and literally invisible, so I'm glad I didn't overspend on the fancy stuff.
