I just put my deposit down for the new Audi Q6 e-tron and I am beyond excited to finally get behind the wheel! Since this is my first step into the Audi EV world, I want to make sure my garage setup is fully prepped before delivery day. I know the Q6 e-tron is built on that impressive 800-volt PPE platform, and while I’m stoked about the fast public charging, I really want a seamless, high-quality experience for my nightly Level 2 charging at home.

I already have a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed, but I’m looking for recommendations on a dedicated wallbox rather than just relying on the mobile connector. I’m specifically looking for something with a very flexible cable—it gets quite chilly here in the winter, and I’ve heard some cables can get stiff and difficult to manage in the cold. I’ve been eyeing the ChargePoint Home Flex and the Wallbox Pulsar Plus, but I’m curious if anyone has found a specific brand that integrates particularly well with the Audi app or MMI system for scheduling.

Also, are there any sleek cable management accessories or holsters you’d recommend to keep the setup looking clean and premium? For those who already have their Q6 e-tron or a similar e-tron setup, what home charging accessories have turned out to be absolute 'must-haves' for you?

Ngl, Grizzl-E Classic Level 2 EV Charger has a better cold-weather cable, but Wallbox Pulsar Plus Level 2 EV Charger has superior software. Honestly, dont skip the Lectron EV Charger Nozzle Holster! gl!

Respectfully, I'd consider another option. After years of testing, Autel MaxiCharger Home Smart EV Charger 40 Amp at $450 is unbeatable. Its cold-weather cable beats premium units.

Honestly, I've used ChargePoint Home Flex Level 2 WiFi Enabled EV Charger 16 to 50 Amp for years and its AMAZING! Im new to Audi too, but that cable stays flexible in winter, literally a lifesaver!!

TL;DR: Emporia Level 2 EV Charger 48 Amp with 24ft Cable for value/data; Tesla Universal Wall Connector with 24ft Cable for cold-weather flexibility.

Seconding the recommendation above and suggesting you compare the Emporia (best data) vs the Tesla Universal (best cold-weather cable). While the Emporia is technically superior for monitoring, the Tesla's dual J1772/NACS support is better for future-proofing your Q6. I’d suggest the Tesla for that ultra-flexible cable... just make sure to stick with UL-listed units for safety.
